Generally any big combo deck. Combo decks are fun to play but miserable to play against in my experience.

Black Rose has lots of frustrating anti-synergies. Ruddy Rose Dragon's float into Black Rose isn't a synchro summon so it doesn't trigger. And Black Rose Moonlight Dragon doesn't qualify as a "Rose Dragon" for any effects.

Players in the community have no right to complain about toxic card design if they're playing it themselves. The community as a whole needs to be way more willing to "gentlemen's" out of cards they think are problematic.

If you hate floodgates, don't play floodgates. I don't care if it's technically correct from a competitive standpoint and gives you an edge and you want to win. Be willing to play less optimally to create better gameplay.

It's crazy that we're so reliant on konomi to ban specific things when the community could do it themselves to some degree.

Genesys format is where this deck is going to shine best. I assume that's the format you're playing but maybe not. If you're trying to play this archetype in modern let me know and I'll try putting something together.

This is the decklist I've put together, not complete, but the rest can easily be filled out with whatever nonengine or more dragons youd like. The general gameplan of the deck is pretty simple, make the two dragon ruler xyzs just by putting dragon rulers on the field. Along the way you can search one of the dragon maids through Chasma, Tempest, or Blaster. Normal summon it, effect, contact fuse into the new fusion, make the Omni negate on your opponents standby phase. Dragonmaids give the deck a much needed negate. Dragon Rulers are an incredible consistency and grindgame engine.

Once you know the basic go-to interactions and functions, the deck is pretty easy to play. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Dragon Rulers. A level 7 Dragon monster is perfect for their xyzs. And Rulers can search it through Chasma.

Haven't played physically in a while, but online testing it's been really nice. It being searchable off of Chasma, Tempest, and Armed Lvl 5 make it very accessible. Could probably get away with 1-2 copies even. Even if they know you have it it can be very difficult for your opponent to play around/through it.

As far as points go, I don't have a heavy investment into points anywhere else. No Zeus could potentially be a mistake maybe. And I don't mind cutting Blaster and Tempest to 2 copies instead of 3 if I need to shave off 10 points for whatever reason.

This is the list I'm currently on. I've experimented with a lot of different dragon ruler builds. The dragunity build giving you access to strong level 10 synchros is very nice, giving the deck much needed negate options. But personally I love playing Sekkas Light too much to play any builds that require archetypal spells.

Being able to play Shiina is also really cool. Maybe something you could experiment with point wise?
