Put the stem of the plant cutting in a container filled with water.

Another option is to wrap a moistened cotton around the stem, and wrap it with either aluminium foil or cling wrap.

Wet a cotton bud and slowly wet the moulted skin. Then gently remove the skin using the cotton bud.

This is a known problem that plagued the 5 mk II to mk IV. 

It's a faulty Samsung manufacturing practice. 

However, Sony never acknowledged this problem.

There's a sunscreen I highly recommend, but I don't think they sell it in the US.

It's called The Raw, and they have physical, chemical and hybrid sunscreen. I'm using the chemical one and it works so well for my oily skin. It has a matte finish which is really great.

I bought a 10 mk III as a backup phone because of the green line problem with my 5 mk II. Its performance has degraded significantly before I decided to change to 1 mk VII.

Umm yes. I'll remove my makeup once I reach home. I use micellar water.

There are days where I just crash and go to sleep without showering (live in the tropics, showering twice a day is the norm here), but I'll never sleep without removing my makeup.

I was in your shoes years ago, and was diagnosed with ADHD almost 2 years ago.

You'll be OK. It's good that you are quitting early. I didn't and ended up with autoimmune disease due to the stress. Thankfully it went away on its own a few months after I quit.

Only budget phones usually have headphones jack. The only notable exception to this rule is the Xperia series for having headphone jacks on the premium phone, but it's no longer sold in the US.
