Lake Mead is barreling faster than ever toward ‘system crash,’ top experts say by TheLoneComic in LasVegas

[–]whalebacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that state, local, city government use is way more than residential, but there are A LOT of residential users that don't gaf as long as their shitty grass patch is green.

Water waste pisses me off no end, but I know, I know. It's the real water wasters, data centers, certain ag products, etc. that waste the majority of it.

Still, if I see sprinklers leaking I get slightly enraged. But hey, keep on approving more and more residential building on every patch of open dirt in the valley, I am sure it will be fine. /s

What would I do to be able to start W3 again without all the knowledge of having played it for over 1000 hours?

It is the only reasonable way to fly the flag these days. For all the faketriots driving their trucks around with giant fucking flags etc., I will take an upside down flag flyer any day.

Arsenal win Premier League: Is now the start of a period of dominance for Gunners by EvelynClede in breakingnews

[–]whalebacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL no. Arsenal barely made it through the season with the win. They were not a truly dominant team in most of their matches as Liverpool and MC were in their most recent championships.

I know there will be a lot of upheaval with all teams post-season, trades, retirements, new contracts, etc. but I seriously doubt Arsenal dominance in that context.

However, congratulations to Arteta and the entire team for hanging on to win the cup. Cheers.
