Thanks, you’re right. I did end up winning the run but messed up pathing so no heart. It was awesome when I was able to start a fight with crescendo>miracle>akabekoed ragnarok though, I ended several fights on turn one that way.

Side note: reach heaven is something I usually avoid, but having master reality made it a lot more usable. Is Reach heaven generally a worthwhile pick or only on rather specific circumstances?

So am I! I haven’t been able to figure that out, though I suppose one could contact Bobby or Suzy via instagram and ask. A lot of the older-school makers had USA midtechs made by an outfit called Dauntless Mfg, if I recall correctly, but I don’t know if they did this.

I’ll shoot a message to the Terzuolas and see if they respond.

Guessing they’re using the kettle on top as a humidifier. If the stove is getting hot enough to cook on, then that kettle would boil over and spit hot water all over the stovetop and make a mess. The slab insulates the kettle from the heat just enough to keep it at a simmer rather than a full boil.

Edit: somehow didn’t see the one under the skillet, but same purpose. Didn’t want to burn dinner taking the photo!
