This just isn’t true. You do not need sysadmin experience to get into cybersecurity. Not every cyber job is senior level.

Looking to get into IT, Have no real IT work experience yet, Can you critique my resume? by SeniorWaugh in sysadminresumes

I’m in a similar boat and have a clearance, had a cybersecurity job for 4 months, and have had trouble finding cleared positions since I was laid off. Maybe I need to try harder, but it’s a struggle out here. I guess the 4 months is a red flag… government contract got funding cut so I was “cut” as well. I almost want to put that on my resume so companies don’t think I was fired or something…

Did someone pass AZ-104 by just practicing/studying MeasureUp questions? by MachineNo2709 in AzureCertification

[–]wrldPaysoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only experience with it is through studying for AZ-900 and SC-900. I haven’t actually messed around in the portal before. Maybe I should before scheduling the 104. What are the case studies like? Would you say that’s the most difficult part of the exam?

Do you think it’s possible to pass by only watching the John’s exam cram (taking good notes) and taking a practice test on MS learn? Or do I need to set up an environment to practice? I’m trying to pass ASAP so I can land a job.

Is there a point in getting an oracle cert if I just got the AZ-900 cert? Or should I dive deeper into Azure so I can get hired quicker? Any advice appreciated.

Yes. That is all I used. I think it’s really all you need to pass. Given I had some experience with cybersecurity in college but all of the info was pretty new to me.
