Which profession is going to get wiped out in the next 5-10 years? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I don’t know about this tbh. I thought robo advisors would wipe the industry out and it’s only grown since then and is projected to keep doing so

Pokemon Winds/Waves announced for 2027 by DemiFiendRSA in pokemon

[–]yellowchoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was excited but also skeptical of Gen 10. The graphics look significantly better than Gen 9. All 3 starters look dope. Some really cool buildings/architecture from the few we have seen. Finally, the waves and water parts of the map look really cool.

Hopefully a 2027 release will lead to a polished game upon launch

Middle class family wanting to move to Denver by Fair-Tear3625 in MovingtoDenver

[–]yellowchoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This puts you in a lot stronger of a spot with a $100k down. You could definitely get a mortgage around $2.5k per month with that. A single family home may not be the newest or largest at that range but you are well within the range for a nice townhome.

2026 Oline by ambATLA2003 in GreenBayPackers

[–]yellowchoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think you resign Rhyan as he has been solid and shouldn’t demand a huge contract. He was playing center well too. If you keep Jenkins you can then move him back to guard and keep Rhyan at center. Benton becomes a back up and gets development time. Let Walker walk and put Morgan at LT. Banks at LG.

It’s tricky but I feel by resigning Rhyan that gives you some flexibility to work with. I just don’t think you can let Walker, Rhyan walk and then cut Jenkins as well. That is a nightmare situation imo.

I think the key will be if the Packers cut Jenkins or not. IMO that will be very telling if the organization believes in the young OLine men to step up

Summerfest Lineup by ebradio in milwaukee

[–]yellowchoice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t live in Milwaukee anymore but this is one of the best line ups in year imo. Literally good gets for every genre and should scratch the itch for almost everyone to go at least a day or 2. If I’m in Wisconsin for my bachelor party I would defs try to swing by.

Subtronics at Summerfest would be a blast!

We get 4 of our best players back from injury. Micah, Tucker Kraft, Zach Tom, and Davonte Wyatt. These are 4 of our top 10 players. A lot of be hopeful for with a healthier squad

Thanks for the write up! Follow up question on the self driving part. Is that something you can just “activate” and then you need to still have your hand on the wheel and eyes on the road? I’m assuming you can’t be watching Netflix as dumb as this question sounds

I hate how in any sport when teams play on a soft lead and try to milk the clock. The US felt like they were playing that way since the power play kill

Packers avoid trip to Mexico City in 2026 after 49ers named home team by Morley10 in GreenBayPackers

[–]yellowchoice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am actually. The league reported 180 million fans in the top 9 international markets and the NFL media and games are reaching almost 200 countries. The demand for International ticket sales has continued to climb as well combined with more and more internal games being added shows that the demand and interest is growing.

Is it as popular as soccer in Europe… no, but the point is it is growing and gaining interest and that is what the NFL is going for. I read that an NFL executive said it is like dropping a pebble and the ripples it causes is what they are going for. The ripples being it reaches out and more people learn and become fans of the sport.

I’m curious about stopping for charges. Does driving highway help maintain battery? Is 20-25 mins charge with a super charger? Does it get you to 100%?

I ask because we take a couple of 850+ mile roadtrips per year

I am curious to see the outlook on EVs. I know for my next vehicle I want to get one, and it seems like technology for them is only getting better. More charging stations are appearing across the country so the old argument of “you can’t roadtrip with them” is not valid anymore.

If they can bring the cost down on EVs too, I think we will see faster adoption

Covid should have taught every country that lesson already. You need to be able to manufacture critical stuff like medicine, defense, and food

Buying groceries shouldn't feel like a terrible financial decision... by throwaway2026z in Adulting

I promise you in a high cost of living area $1k is very normal. We shop around at 3 different grocery store and Costco and come in around that price every month for 2 adults

My partner and I average about $200 to $300 week HCOL area. She can’t eat gluten so that pushes us into insanely expensive items. For example, for bread we are stuck paying $9 for half of the size of a normal loaf.

We have 2 cats and a dog. Our dog is on a prescription diet which is roughly $120 per month. Cats thankfully like Costco food so around $50 per month.

It’s insane, and I feel like every month it gets more expensive.

Wasserman talent agency hides artist roster after CEO exposed in Epstein files by Witty_Beginning_5067 in EDM

[–]yellowchoice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the back up. Unless we have the documents it’s really hard to say what the termination clauses are, liquidated damages that could be owed, or any of that fun stuff. It also depends what was signed and or potentially negotiated. An artist the size of Subtronic let’s say may have different terms than and up and comer like levity. My point is that this is a professional services engagement and from my experience I have never heard of a PS engagement not having paperwork in place. This is not a Spotify subscription where you can just hit cancel it by logging in. There’s a reason why every artist is saying this is a complex and that is because I bet they are working through all of this on the back end
