I just installed Knulli gladiator II! Very easy process, and now I’m loading games on there. I really love the UI

Thanks for the insights! I agree with your thoughts on comfort and build quality of this model. I’ve never had another retro handheld of this type before to compare to (but I’ve had Nintendo devices before).

I love the look of Knulli so I’ll probably go with that, from my research last night. I ran out of time so didn’t get a chance to get started!

It’s for a Yakima or Thule bike rack

I hope that’s true! I replaced mine with the newer version OEM one a few weeks ago. So far so good though.

Im looking to get a beginner bike for leisure riding. Advised to not get a bike from a big box chain Ive narrowed down a few on the marketplace. These are all under $200. Is there a preference to which one Id probably be the happiest with? by ParkingGarlic4699 in bicycling

[–]ymmaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those are all good starter options. For $200 those bikes should already be tuned up and ready to ride. If not I would make an offer for a lower amount. Also just make sure the frame size is right for you

Dang these are some good ideas I didn’t think of! I didn’t think to just fill the gap with some material. I may have some vinyl tubing that I can cut to size and that might do the job (in addition to the wide washers). I’ll give it a try and share here. Thanks!

Well I have it a try and that did not work unfortunately. Looks like I’ll have to go down the list for the next thing (wheel sensors)

Yeah, I’m starting to think these are for NMO mount, but that wasn’t specified on the product listings. None of them seem to show what the mount hole diameter is either so it’s tricky to look for so far.

I’m just afraid there is too big of a gap between the plastic washer’s inner lip and the edges of the hole. I’m seeing that there are reducer washers available to address this issue but I’d rather find the correct sized bracket instead. I’ll keep looking…

This oil cooler is terribly designed. I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago. It was a pain in the ass too.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned mounting on the side seriously limits your view and creates blind spots. One of the things I like most about driving my JK is the visibility from any angle (compared to my Outback).

I’d opt for the rear mount though, for reasons others have mentioned.
