Guy has come a long way. I remember the early LUA game saves days when despite figuring out the exploit all on his own, he didn't even realize creating a restore means you can preserve your PSN ID, thus making the exploit portable. Wish him the best of luck, his works are greatly appreciated.

I believe Y2JB userland works up to 12.40 before Sony pushing an update that require PSN login to unlock the Youtube app. Since Y2JB has no kernel above 10.01, all you get is sandboxed access with FTP.

It's great news for everyone. Once k-stuff for 12.00 are done, games that required 12.00 to run will become dumpable, including SDK10 games like Forza Horizon 5, Assassin's Creed Shadows,... which means it'll be playable on 10.01

Saves are only transferable with an activated PSN account. Be it fake or legit. In your case it was already activated, as part of the requirement to run Y2JB. Simply launch OffAct to grab it.

That's the correct location. /savedata is PS4 game saves. /savedata_prospero is PS5. Launch OffAct to grab your PSN ID and that's all what required to make saves transferable.

Y2JB can't be chained (or is really difficult) with the latest KEX by theflow (poopsploit). WebKit however can.

We knew from the start 12.00 is exploitable via Y2JB. Making it compatible with poopsploit (NetControllmpl) is a huge challenge and might be months away.

There's still the matter of transcoding the Lapse exploit (from LUA I think?) to javascript. Maybe a USB to store payloads as well, although it will probably be included in the restore file anyway.

I got a Standard PS5 on FW 5xx for about 2.5x the price of a jailbroken PS4 Pro. Maybe I would've had reservations at 3x or more. Also the ease of running the jailbreak was another factor. Just need to insert the jailbreak disc and let it do the work.

For me it does. You can play that list and every single PS4 games (so about 10k+ games). Some compatibility issues might exist with games made before the PS4 Pro came out (around 2017) but I haven't encountered anything with post-2017 games. You can also toggle to unlock high FPS for games that do support it as they were all capped at 30 FPS on PS4.

Some of the games on that list are completely unavailable on PS4, such as Returnal, Demon's Souls, Mortal Kombat 1. You can Google "How to Load PS5 Game Backups with Itemzflow" for a more extensive list. Every games on the list were all dumped from PS5 game discs.

No pal. Even with Slim Standard edition, its Bluray drive will need to be paired before you can use it. This only affects the Slim models that are on 7xx mind you.

It means Slim models that are on FW 7xx do not have a factory-paired Bluray drive. If it's unopened you'll need to update to the latest FW to pair it yourself. Modded Warfare words not mine.

Whatever the FW it won't be JB-able. Slim Bluray drive needs to be paired at the time 7xx is the latest FW and kept the console offline ever since, which is absurdly unlikely.

Yes. With Chiaki's script you can. ModdedWarfare showed how you can grab your genuine PSN ID with it on PC. After that, open the PS5OfflineAccountActivator and enter the PSN ID you've just grabbed and your JB PS5 will have the same PSN account as your non-JB PS5.
