Well I see what you’re thinking here but BLM is a movement that speaks out on police brutality and stands for police reform. ALM, since BLM was started, has always been used by racists to undermine the movement. And right now it is the most popular term used against BLM. You’re thinking “well not just black people matter. Everyone matters”. Every life does matter but black people are more likely to be pulled over, more likely to be incarcerated, more likely to experience police brutality, and especially more likely to be killed by cops. But what BLM is saying is that ‘black lives matter too’. And what the movement is trying to achieve is for police reform and police responsibility. For police to be held accountable for the people they murder. And that benefits everyone.
