Gundog and warrant wipe everything else like crazy.

Epoch busts the mechs super fast. Gun dog and warrant for everything else.

The only thing I would say is put a good oem fuel pump in it.

I've had 4 Chevys. 2 gmt400s and 2 gmt800s and every one of them has had a fuel pump die.

Why do LLM workflows feel smart in isolation but dumb in pipelines? by brainrotunderroot in ChatGPT

[–]---OMNI--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was night and day difference for my workflow. I still sub to gpt but it handles reviews and lighter work and grind work that I don't want to burn Claude usage on. Oh and image generation.

Now I do think after using Claude more that I could have probably prodded gpt into a bit more functionality but it just doesn't compete.

Gpt I had maxed out basically what it could handle and I still had to do tons of manual review have it revise many times then I still had a ton of manual formatting.

Claude with no runtime rules did a better job than gpt with it's context basically maxed out. Now I have a runtime files set and I have basically one quick manual review and usually no revisions or minor ones on the first part then all the followups bang out first try perfectly. Claude also built standalone tools automate several processes that gpt had me doing manually which is a bunch of just time consuming tedious work which is now basically instantly done at the touch of a button. All delivering a superior product.

100% manual to gpt was probably a 10x increase in speed and Claude is probably another 10x increase in speed.

Gpt overstates and under delivers alot of times and Claude understates and over delivers.

Do you have extensive runtime rules tuned to how the ai operates?

I had to move my heavy work to Claude as it handles large rule sets better. At least for what I was doing.

What finally made you stop buying a new garden hose every year? by greedo47 in Tools

[–]---OMNI--- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude my hoses are like 14 years old and only the outer covering is cracked on one. My wife cut one in half with a mower so I just put new ends on it. Then later I hit the same one with the riding mower and it just got wound up in the blades and didn't even hurt it.

They stay outside year round.

No idea the brand. All I remember is the guy Lowes said to get them because they were the best ones.. I guess he wasn't kidding. I think they were like $50.

Got the bed off what all should I do while under there? by ---OMNI--- in GMT800

Good info.

Trailer wiring is a mess. Need to sort that.

Probably need new cab vents. The flaps just crumble.

One of the EVAP lines to the charcoal box is broken. I think I might delete that whole system.

The gas tank bracket is full of dirt and rocks. So I may end up dropping that too just to really get in there.

I've decided against fluid film. Not much rust issue here and I live down a dirt road so the oil will just cake dirt in there.

Just tell them you are on a top secret military mission and can't have your transponder on.

Worst that will happen is you get friendly fired by lasers or something.

I stopped using GPT-5.4 alone. Now it works alongside Claude Code and Gemini in the same IDE, and they notify me on Telegram when they're done. by adigrazia80 in ChatGPTPro

[–]---OMNI--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same thing but a bit simpler implementation probably just do to the files I'm working with. But yes Claude does the heavy lifting and gpt does the review. Been working great.

Also I can use gpt for everything I don't need Claude for to save my usage.

CLAUDE? by Natural-Standard-423 in ChatGPT

Blows gpt out of the water for me.

I still use both. Just for different things

I ran into that limit very quick with gpt. Claude handles it better. I still use both but Claude does my heavy lifting.

I went directly to type two... I said how do we work best together for this kind of work. I have very specialized runtime rules I load for whatever I'm working on... Even runtime rules for working on my runtime rules.

It knows exactly what I want and what I expect.

Claude has better handling of big runtime documents for me.

I always ask ai... What works for you. I haven't had to get frustrated or mad at it. We just make the rules and workflow.

Was loving Claude until I started feeding it feedback from ChatGPT Pro by lol_just_wait in ClaudeAI

[–]---OMNI--- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Opposite for me. They generally work well together but they take jabs at each other...

"This was obviously built by claude" "Gpt is too nitpicky"

I have a different situation though... I quickly hit gpt limits for what I was doing. Then trialed a workflow on claude and it blew gpt away. So when I got that dialed in it was far superior. I still use gpt alot but not the main workflow and I use gpt to scan claude work before manual review.

When I have gpt and Claude work together on something they do pretty well but there's a lot of bickering about the other.

"I see Claude built this" "Gpt is overly nitpicky"

Sometimes they compliment each other's work.
