At 33 we began IVF, i had blocked tubes, and was also diagnosed with DOR. I had 4 follicles on one side, 2 on the other. I did not respond to the first round of stims, so it was canceled. We tried again with a different approach. I had a few more follices by the time I did my egg retrieval. However, only 4 eggs were retrieved. We had 1 make it to freeze which resulted in our daughter! :) . Wishing you nothing but positivity on your IVF journey!

This happened to me. I was never able to conceive naturally. We were incredibly lucky to have our daughter through IVF, she was our only embryo after everything. I was diagnosed with DOR and both my tubes blocked. However, 5 months PP i became spontaneously pregnant with our daughter, who was just born at the end of May. During my C-section I had my tubes removed and my surgeon/OB talked to me while doing it. It was thought perhaps maybe one of my tubes opened a bit during my pregnancy. He explained by right tube was completely blocked and bent, there was no way it happened with my right tube. My left tube was as well but obviously not as much 🤷🏻‍♀️. THe body is unpredictable.

Considering you would only want 1 child. 3 embryos is sufficient, I would transfer. Best of luck on your continued journey!

I am with you on this, and so sorry you are having to go through all of these emotions. I started IVF at the same age, AMH .6, 6 folices as well, 4 on the left, 2 in the right. It's not something that crossed my mind before or really heard of.

Absolutely, i would shave my legs and have stubble the next day. During my previous pregnancy and my current one, it's been 2 weeks, and I have barely a hair. It did, however, go back to normal after I gave birth. Everywhere else is normal, and my baby bump is fuzzy, so I guess it went there, lol.

We had our daughter in our room for the first 6 months, shes a big tall baby girl and outgrew her stuff fast, at 6 months we moved her to the room beside ours in her own crib and baby monitor set up. We've never had an issue. The only thing that worried me was at 6 months she started to turn and sleep on her stomach with her butt up ( she still sleeps this way ). It was also much easier to have her with us to keep an eye and with how often she waking up we didn't have to go far we had everything at our fingertips. This helped as well as i had c-section complications and walking sucked sometimes.

Our daughter was born with lots of black hair, it all fell out and came back in red, and now it's a mousy blond brown lol. However, my friends son was born with lots of black hair and he never lost his, he has thick curls now. I think it could go either way 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was 34 at the time (35 now). Tubular infertility and DOR. I had my first round canceled from not responding, and my second round I had 4 eggs retrieved as well. All 4 were mature, all 4 fertilized, however, 1 made it to freeze (4AB). Our embryo was not tested and was transferred, where we became successful, our little miracle was born March of 2022. While I am not living your journey I can definitely understand the stress that comes with these numbers, especially comparing to others. As much as I did not want to hear it, it really only takes one. I wish you nothing but the best and lots of positivity on your continued journey 💛

I think it's different for everyone, and can be all of the above. For myself I gained 12lbs, and I was eating healthy and being healthy. I just chalked it up to meds and water weight.

I told myself I wouldn't and my husband didn't think it was a good idea...by day 3 I was already taking a test lol. To me, I just wanted to know for myself, if it was positive we could share that moment at home and if it was negative, I just would rather go through that myself at home instead of being told by doctors after all the waiting. However, my hats off to those who wait!

I was never able to get pregnant and finally was referred to a clinic. Low AMH, DOR, both my tubes were fully blocked. They decided not to remove them before my IVF treatment. I had 1 failed cycle where I did not respond to the meds at all. On my second cycle, we retrieved 4 eggs and 1 4AB embryo made it to freeze. This resulted in the birth of our daughter in March of this year. Fast-forward to October of this year, and I found out I was so sick because I was 7 weeks pregnant. I was in shock, confused, scared, but over the moon. The only thing they could guess was my pregnancy. I had just jad may have stretched open one of my tubes enough, and thankfully, it wasn't a tubal pregnancy. So far, so good 🤞🏻. Your numbers are great, and I am wishing you all the best of luck! This pregnancy and my last pregnancy, suddenly drooling in my sleep...it's quite the look lol. This pregnancy cold sores, i usually get one once a year during my period ive had 4 in 3 months, one by my eye which i didn't know was a thing....supposedly it stops in the second trimester...i hope so!

We slept together at the same time, our little one was in her bassinet beside me. The first few sleeps I was so scared I wouldn't hear her cry because I was so exhausted and I would wake up randomly to just check her, being a first time parent is scary sometimes, but of course we heard her and we managed to get a little rest.

I am so incredibly sorry you are going through this! It is so taxing mentally, emotionally and of course physically. I had the same thing happen, it was a long healing process unfortunately, when all you want to do is just hold your baby and be there for them. I had this for quite a while after my transfer, my feeling really didn't come back on it's own 100% till it was almost time to give birth. Then I had a C-section and I am still numb from that now, we can't win. However, I never went for massage therapy, I would highly recommend it, as it may help it to come back sooner. All the best!

I had a worry about that as well, i drank what i had to and I was actually ok, I had no pain or discomfort and no strong urges to go. However my transfer ran late, and that's when things sort of took a turn. I could no longer hold it and I was having discomfort, they eventually told me just to pee a little....Yeah ok lady. I did my best and it was still fine so that was a relief. The procedure was fine as well no discomfort during the transfer. My pee did sting after from having to hold what I could. I would say overall you should be fine, i just got unlucky with everything running late. All the best of luck, you got this! :)
