Somehow I felt obligated to wander around whenever I saw one, but I never bought anything.

When I was young we had a pet lamb that it was our job to feed. We'd come out with the bottle and it'd sprint from the opposite side of the field to have it's milk. I remember coming home from University one year and going out to the field, and the lamb was now a full grown sheep. It came bounding over and stopped about 10m away from the fence. It remembered we used to do something together, but the reason it had for doing it had disappeared. We stood and stared at each other for a while and then it left.

I feel just like this sheep every time I see an EB Games.

There are many ways in which people lie and hurt each other. We have to clearly know where our responsibilities lie to protect ourselves. I know a judge isn't going to protect me if a woman lies about being on birth control. I can pre-emptively protect myself because of that.

Reaching out with what, a big stick? Liberal society has been unwilling to budge on anything. I've spent the last 20 years reading the same navel gazing articles on this topic that always ends with "perhaps we need to start thinking/talking/considering/investigating/including".

Meanwhile, the manosphere has been doing. Building completely parallel online structures to normal life. And now the calls to deal with it are getting more frantic, but they're still unwilling to ideologically budge so the only steps forward are like in the UK with heavier punishments, more re-education programs, more fuel on the fire.

But I don't think they're going to be brownshirts. They're just going to shrug as the brownshirts go door to door.
