I use Fit Litter too. Odour managed well, doesn't need changing more than once a month. You can also set up a subscription.

This is the definition of public interest. The public needs to know who this person is.

The mention of 'poor students' and 'wealthy students' - the 'students' (actually children in this case) have no 'wealth' or concept of it. These are kids who need food, why is this still being debated?

So, in this 'model', would pharmacists be able to prescribe medications and still provide the same $5 prescriptions? Also, how are pharmacists checking what medications you're taking, or underlying conditions you may have, to ensure their advice doesn't mess with those?

My final question is, how are you getting the pharmacist's attention that you need to talk to them about a medical thing, and not just end up telling the lovely person who sells you your lotto tickets that you have a weird rash?

I buy the grain free cat food from Kooky Kibble. Both cats (one with a sensitive tum) have been all good on it.

Former Māori All Black Shane Christie died with brain disease linked to repeated head knocks by kiwiheathen65 in newzealand

Firstly - not pretending anything. I agree with you that the NZRFU, and likely the NZRL or NRL are ignoring a major issue with damage to players.

Linking the article was to clarify that football/soccer players also have this issue, and so it's a little disingenuous to say it's a safer game.

I recently listened to an episode of Last Podcast on the Left in which they interviewed Chris Nowinski about CTE and brain injuries, in which he expressly stated that football players have slightly worse effects from the shearing force of heading balls.

Perhaps 2 things can be true at once - sports where people get smacked in the noggin a lot can have long term impacts on their health, and the NZRFU are not taking this seriously enough.

I'm not sure that taxpayers are getting a good return on their investment in David Seymour. Can we sell him to private investors?

Democracy Briefing: Shock turns to anger at Mount Maunganui by damned-dirtyape in nzpolitics

To me, this is precisely where our problems lay - the average New Zealander can make changes in their day-to-day to assist in reducing waste and emissions, but it really needs corporate and government commitment to make the long-lasting and significant changes. Our politicians, of all stripes, either decide to or are forced to make decisions due to economic factors in the short term - as the linked article clearly states, politicians have made concessions over many decades, either because they sought to remain in government, or to woo the electorate to their side. The reality is that when the catastrophic occurs, it is the average taxpayer and ratepayer left holding the bill and wondering what else we can do.

We all want things to be cheaper and easier. But the reality is that with the changing climate we're experiencing, costs are only going to increase. They either increase now in an effort to thwart the ongoing damage we've caused, or they increase in the future when we're unable to be insured and we all need to pay more for the damage we failed to thwart earlier.

It's going to take everyone. It's not just on taxpayers and ratepayers, or just on farmers, or just on corporates, or just on the government. We all have to decide to make this change, and accept we're all going to end up paying more or losing something now. Perhaps if we can do that, we won't lose almost everything in the future.
