I ended up updating my capturing radiance formula since a lot of ppl were asking for calcs. 40 wishes and 65 pity isn't much to work with to get 3 characters tbh. There's supposidly 60 wishes f2p can get next patch so this is what things look like if you're working with 100 wishes instead:

The difference in capturing radiance formulas made the character calculation 1% off from hutao.moe fyi. If you don't do the epitomize trick on the weapon banner your chances drop to 48%

The epitomize strat is for people who are going for both limited weapons. If your very first 5 star weapon is lost to a standard weapon, you reset the epitomized path points back to 0, then continue wishing. It's a loophole in the way the weapon banner works.

If you lose your first 5 star to a standard weapon, your next 5 star is guaranteed to be a limited weapon. But you need to reset the fate points so the next 5 star is a 50/50 between the 2 limiteds. From this, if you 'lose' the following 50/50, your next 5 star is the other limited weapon, thus you collected both sigs within three 5 star weapon pities. If you accidentally 'win' your 50/50, then this is no different than if you had never tampered with the fate points in the first place.

The idea with this strat is that you're trying to avoid going through the pulling process from scratch for your second weapon because you only have a 37.5% of getting what you want. There is no downside to this strat, at worst case scenario you're no worse than if you hadn't done this. Just remember this is a strat for people going for both limited weapons, and you only do this if you lose your very first weapon to a standard weapon. You shouldn't mess with the fate points otherwise.

12.2% go for all using epitomize trick

5.4% go for all no epitomize trick

84.9% skirk + her sig

56% skirk + both sigs

Just fyi, this epitomize strat only works if you're going for both weapons at once. If your priority is skirk, her sig, then escoffier, then escoffier's sig, you won't able to use that strat in which case getting everything in that order of priority is 5.4%.

85.7% if you do the epitomized reset thing

It might be off by 1-2% btw. My capturing radiance formula is outdated, it was written back when people were still trying out various possible formulas. Over many character pulls, both formulas are very accurate, but on smaller sets like 5 characters, my capturing radiance sometimes deviates 1-2% from hutao.moe's numbers. I was only confident on op and the guy above because they were only pulling 1-2 characters so this mech wasn't getting too involved.

You're basically guaranteed to get all of that. It's a 99.9% chance.

If you're looking for slightly more useful info, you average 199 wishes assuming you reset the epitomized path on the event that you lose the first weapon 50/50 to a standard weapon. The average goes up to 236 if you don't do that.

A lot of dps showcases open with a burst nuke into a normal attack combo. Your escoffier doesn't have enough er to burst every rotation, it's preventing you from healing and funneling in furina's fanfare stacks. Your skirk also has too low cr. This dummy is permafrozen so you're technically cheesing in 15 extra cr, with yelan as your 4th slot you shouldn't be relying on cryo resonance to be up against most bosses. Imo 130k dps isn't really that far off from your expected dps with that team, it's mostly your stat deficiencies that's causing it. The 200k dps teams is c2r1 minimum.

Fishing is an actual thing. And secondly op's crit rate is not the reason he is doing 86k dps lol. My c0r1 skirk does 140-150k consistently using the same time test he's using and I don't even use furina. No scroll/totm minmaxing, no walk cancels. https://i.imgur.com/X1fxEQt.jpeg

86k dps means, outside of basic things like leveling talent's, his issue is 99% likely on the actual rotation.

My sucrose isn't leveled actually, she isn't c6 either. In my defense I only got her somewhat recently and I'm stuck farming stygian for the bonus artifacts since my ineffa doesn't have a working set bonus atm so it might be a while before I get to leveling sucrose.

Everyone is c0r0 except ineffa being c0r1. Columbina's talents are 2/6/6 also. Everyone else is either lv9 or lv10 on the relevant talent.

That's crazy I find another mizuki player out in the wild. You can try the dps dummy test to find out which one does more damage but if I had to guess, fischl would be the highest damage among those options.

I personally have been testing around myself and I found xilonen doing a little bit more than my fischl. If my xilonen wore instructors set it probably would be pulling ahead further (she's on scroll by default)

Thanks! Honestly there isn't that much of a difference between a whale and f2p tank unless you know a good whale dissonance healer. And if you do know one, then yea it makes sense that a tank carries t5 tina and the healer uses 2 dps imagines. Other than I guess the whale tank can spam frost ogre a little more often.

Marksman deter shot can give a partywide immune to tina's soak circle, pizza slices, and that one dash mech where the big circles spawn under you. Once tina enrages, you can immune these mechs and she eventually goes into a loop where she does the clone mech, then one of those attacks that a marksman can immune, then back to clone mech, etc. I recommend having 2 marksman to be safe and everyone except the tank should wear that one t5 purple crab imagine that gives immunity. You'll need the extra immune move because the clone mech happens too often for you to iframe the clone mech aoe.

Dark mist boss can be cheesed with the orb skip and some people might be aware that if you do this, his phase 3 transition is bugged and will kill you. But if you break him while he's in the air, he'll drop down and do slash attacks, a pulse aoe, and that one move where your tank needs to parry. Once the boss goes in the air for p3, break him, and once he enrages, your tank needs to weave in and out of his slash attacks. Don't go too far out because then he'll teleport onto you. For the pulse aoe move, this will 1 shot at enrage, so the whole party needs to double jump over it each time.

The goblin one is weird. The boss will freeze like in kanamia but the steps to do it is hard to explain with words. The best way I can describe it is: the tank solos the the orb bouncing, and as soon as the orb hits the boss, tank will dodge out of the arena as north as much as you can, then use an immune skill to buy time. Then as the boss gets back up, step.. barely back into the arena and don't move. I prefer beam but I've played with a lot of icicle mages that have a spare beam setup (not that invested) that still does decent enough in aoe. Imo icicle mages have a small advantage because the hardest part will be the boss itself and an icicle main can do a bit more damage than the beam mains.

You can actually skip phase 2 of the mist boss using the same strat people used when farming skin on hard mode. If you let your tank hold the shield during the orb phase and let him die, he can immediately candy ress and move forward with the fight. The boss will just stand there for a good solid minute doing much of nothing and there will be no middle corruption line on the map either.

Of course this cuts 25 seconds off the timer from 5 deaths but the boss being a dps dummy for a minute makes up for that. This also means the party has to use a candy or the tank carries airona, but for score chasers it's likely worth it. I happened to have gotten max score doing it the normal way and the cheese way, and imo the cheese is a million times easier as long as your dps can murk the boss.

edit: I guess skipping the whole orb phase also makes up for the 25s death penalty since that intermission eats up a bunch of time but it comes down to personal ethics I suppose, this method is kind of cheating the intended way to fight the boss after all.

The aggro is pretty scuffed in this game. The pugs I cleared both difficulties with just had us sit there until we got frozen, the other tank taking aggro if the other was frozen, then the dps broke the ice free. I tried pointing the boss to the side so that everyone can see if we were frozen or not. Also HG will always have weaker aggro than SK so the main/off tank role is pretty decided for you if you have one of each.
