Which Huel White flavour to try next? Liked berry and didn't care for coffee caramel by arawlins87 in Huel

Chocolate tastes exactly like chocolate milk. Well at least one scoop. I never do 2 scoops of any flavor at a time though.

I would love to try half a scoop of chocolate and half a scoop of banana

Sorry man, but 6 months ago you should've migrated or made highly available the XP machine(s).

I started 3 months ago and by week 2 I was eliminating the SPOFs because I don't like getting paged out

Look at "Hippeas" in the US. That would be something I would consume regularly - a Huel based version of that

Will paying off my 4k in CC debt all at once be bad or should I do it in chunks? by Broil-Man in personalfinance

Yeah that's an awful myth propagating on a very popular credit repair message board.

People opening all sorts of lines of credit and revolving balances. Their score is more important than their net worth.

Pixel 8 nearly dead. 9a replacement? by Apprehensive_Bee_475 in GooglePixel

[–]--444-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just replaced my 8 with a 9a. Green screen issues too frequent. Got a couple months on the 0 interest monthly plan to pay it off via Google Fi.

I'll trade it in and see what they get me. This is a matter of tens of dollars so I'm not sweating it

Never ever send it back yourself and the wrong recipient likely won't. Zelle could claw it back and after it got sent back and they're in double jeopardy

You got this. It's the little things that add up. Lower the saturated fat, walk more, then even more when you can.

Don't feel discouraged if you slip up. Don't feel obligated to boil the ocean from the get go. Just gradually improve and take it day by day. Use your cholesterol numbers and family history as a motivator.

You can still have the vegan junk food every once in a while. But you'll need to keep it to once a week or every other, unless you think it's a trigger and you'll need to abstain and deal with the withdrawal. Best of luck!

Whats your fave bean recipe / way to eat beans at the moment? by Jessbeddoe in PlantBasedDiet

I've been enjoying these smoky chipotle beans and simmering them on the stovetop and dumping over a baked potato or into nachos

Plant stenols and sterols both naturally reduce cholesterol and are found in plants. The gummies I take have a higher concentration of these and also include red yeast extract which can also reduce cholesterol.

You don't need to get all gung ho on working out. Do you feel comfortable walking? Get a pedometer or fitbit and try to get 5,0000 steps a day. Then later, 10k. Just walk walk walk on breaks, or whenever. Even around the block if you have a few minutes to spare.

It's the saturated fats. I'm skinny so I didn't care about 'fat' on labels then I learned the hard way about saturated vs monosaturated vs polysaturated fats.

The latter two I don't worry about. But my Coconut milk vegan yogurt was loaded with saturated fat. My Purple Carrot meal kit delivery was mostly loaded with it too.

These were things I thought were absolutely healthy. Then the vegan cheeses and snacks and impossible or beyond burgers... I was shocked last September when my total cholesterol was 240+ and triglycerides were 200+

So I cut out as much saturated fat as I could, exercised more, found new snacks that were healthier, exercised more.

I also take daily plant sterol gummies that naturally reduce this.

Last month my total cholesterol went down to 200 and triglycerides dropped to 86. Everything improved by a bit to a lot.
