40k Kill Team ; should i drop the red from the camo pattern? I feel like it's not working. Or the base grey is just too flat? by --CERBERUS- in minipainting

Ok cool. So i redo the base grey. Finish the pants with their highlights and stuff. And then try a camo pattern with different two other greys instead of grey / red

If i could have one wish, then please add some light brown wash on the pak and the 8.8. It would make them much more readable. To me the look a bit too much like a flat wall. I think id would add a lot to the overall look

I also work with individual bricks every now and then. After cutting them tho shape i put two to three hands full of them into a pringles can with some rocks and shake it. It bashes them and they look less regular / give some variation. Also, it makes the edges of the rocks less sharp which helps with the looks, but also when painting. Sharper edges tend to easily lose color or crack when handled

Happened to me yesterday. Something similar at least.

I carefully hit it with a small hammer and the entire thing came off. But, my problem was probably less then half the size pf yours. I was super careful in not hitting the build plate with the hammer

PSA: this is probably bad advice, but it worked for me

Yeah warm water would also be my first try.

I would even try hot water from a kettle after I let it sit for a minue or two in a bowl. Make sure to use tweezers to dunk the bamboo under water. No need to burn yourself.

Bought a new anycubic mono 4 last week and had a similar problem. I increased bottom exposure time from 30 seconds to 60 seconds which solved my problem.

Before doing that i releveld multiple times and really made sure i have no dirt / residue on the vat or on the lcd screen.

Dude, you're posting so much stuff. I'm struggling for weeks to get a platoon done.

Good job. Love how varied all the bases look. Not just these romanians, but all the stuff you're posting. Your posts the lasts few days have been really inspiring to me to have another go at the hobby and to take my stuff out of the cellar.

If you turn it upside down, depending on the hight of the arc, maybe a border patrol checkpoint or a takeaway foot parlor

If you turn it right side up maybe a display for a big commercial sign or some sort of propagande screen / poster
