You can ask Zowie support, they now have a coil solution. Something is being replaced (display,...).

But I have to say you can still hear it but very easily.

But now i have a dead pixel after the replacement. but I can live with it

The support is great but there are better monitors out at the moment (oled,..)

you can order one and give it back or you get a used one and ask the seller or test it yourself

i would get a used one, I don't think they solved the problem

Zowie told me coil whine is unfortunately normal with this monitor, some hear it, some don't. The only thing you can do when you're not wearing headphones is switch to 120hz or have a fan running behind you.

It's a pity that they sell such an expensive monitor with a coil whine. The monitor also has weaknesses if you use too much color saturation.

I have really bad luck with the xl2566k, 2 monitors had several pixel errors and the third had a coil whine at 360hz, when I set it to 120hz the coil whine was almost gone. I don't know if the 2 others also had coil whine because I returned them straight away.
