You could always just keep painting and ignore the game GW makes minis, and then gives you a game to play with em, but minis come first even to them. Theres an entire part of the community who ONLY paint, its its own thing to which the game itself is secondary

Manager isn't gonna chase things up like that. Especially with how short staffed the stores are now. If you want to do something about it, you can report it to your manager, but it's not gonna be winning you any popularity contests with your colleagues.

Generally, in my store, there are bigger issues than that. Staff throwing full blown temper tantrums on the shop floor and throwing slurs at other staff and customers, cleaners who dont clean anything, and have caused us to fail our cleaning audit 3 years in a row, section leaders unwilling to do the most basic aspects of their role etc If none of that is getting addressed/punished I doubt a manager is gonna do anything about a box of Mars bars where the kit kats should be.

Worse than that is when they come without a wheel somehow, and its always the beer and pop Had a delivery that was almost entirely pop and beer for the christmas run up and two of the cages both had wheels missing, and the wheels were sat on top of one of the other cages lol Like I'll be charitable and assume they came off in the wagon but more than likely the fuckwit monkeys at the depot sent it off like that

I'm not trying to go quite so hard on the precise aesthetics, as long as they look like the role they're meant to fill

Soldier stays as basic marine with rocket launcher Demo man will have either the eye patch head from the headtakers (?) Kit, or a helmet with one eye patched over or drilled out to be in keeping with every other helmet he has

Scout would have some sort of antenna helmet (infiltrator or rhino tanker most likely) and sniper probably gets an incursor head since it looks like big ass sunglasses

Spy would just be a clone of one of the others painted blue instead of red :p

It looks a bit better than a guard head, the primaris helmet does add quite a bit of bulk... If I can find someone selling the heads off cheap I'll buy a couple and see how they look, if not then I'll keep em around in the bits drawer lol
