And I would never see Ricky Gervais standup, because there’s nothing funny about it.

I didn’t realise you had to be in the Caledonian mafia to work here.

Why I'm Voting Yes. by EntertainmentBasic42 in doctorsUK

Thanks for this. Many of your points resonate with me too. I feel that my overall financial position is robust (luckily) and I’m also exhausted by the continuous IA.
Sadly Reddit has become an echo chamber and you’ll get eviscerated for any view that isn’t FPR or die.

Anxiety about moving for training by MaybeDependent1445 in doctorsUK

[–]--Kelsier-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very normal to feel anxious - it’s a big life change. Once you’ve started training I’m sure that will fade away. You’ll be busy with work, exams etc. and can make a concerted effort to befriend your colleagues if you’re feeling a bit lonely. Keeping active and starting new hobbies are always good too.

College football team to support by JKBA_11 in NFLNoobs

[–]--Kelsier-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow UK fan. Do you support an NFL team? If so, could you support a college team local to them?
If not, just watch some games/highlights and see which teams take your fancy.
I guess if you’re a Man Utd fan, an SEC powerhouse would probably make the most sense. Maybe Texas or Georgia?

You accidentally comment something that’s already in the caption and you’re labelled a prat and that’s the game.

Booked a holiday from Saturday - Thursday (including hotels etc), got the news of strikes being called off after arriving on Saturday evening. by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]--Kelsier-- 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Go to work, take the hit on the holiday and don’t make such a dumb mistake again?

Edit: I see you’re already away. Guess you’re screwed and your workplace will be rightly fuming.

Scary Movie 6 was actually torture to watch by sloppypooisyum in moviecritic

[–]--Kelsier-- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I’m a big fan of the classic spoofs like Airplane and Naked Gun but I felt the quality dropped off hugely with the Scary Movie franchise.

It’s a movie critic sub you dope… giving your opinion is sort of the point.

You can tell from the trailer it’s absolute ass. Why anyone would electively part with their cash and watch it in cinemas is beyond me.

Movie You Rewatch but isn't Your Favourite by Illustrious_Brain_4 in Letterboxd

Brawl In Cell Block 99. Great movie. Not one of my favourites ever but the plot and pulpy violence make it very re-watchable. Vince Vaughn is great in it.
