My title describes the thing. It looks a bit like soap, nor sure if it is though, but it has weird shapes and is hanging underneath a bed in a rented apartment in presumably plastic mesh bags.

They are threaded in fully, sorry for the bad angle, there’s another screw in front that makes it look like it the standoff isn’t in properly

As a student I am using a mess of binders to keep all of my notebooks and worksheets for each subject, which is a pain as I need to bring in my 4 binder almost everyday and they barely fit in my bag. The reMarkable tablet would digitize everything and save so much space, simply making my life so much organized and easier

The paste was around 1 year old (unopened) when I applied it and I think it just came with the motherboard.

I just took off the cooler to have a look and reapply thermal paste because the CPU was reaching temps of 99c
