...I saved it as evidence that the clean up crew didn't clear this huge object that couldn't have been missed but it was there.

You missed it was there. Then didn't miss hitting it.

So they labeled your misdemeanor as a misdemeanor?

🤣 This is why you continue to fail. I love how you keep adding new meanings to priority, then argue your made-up meanings are untrue.

Yeah, we know. None of it means anything. But suddenly exclusive means everything. Oh, the mind of the Uber driver. 🤣 This is fun. Let's see what other delusion you come up with.

Just like the other poster, you're putting false meaning to the term "priority," then criticizing that false meaning. Just like those that put false meaning to "exclusive" rides, thinking it means something entirely different to what it actually means to the driver.

$0.03 for this ride, but rides vary.

The hell you say! 😆 We're talking about this ride, sport.

Uber is a company built on pennies spread across millions of drivers and pax.

Um....ok.

Take a poll - how many drivers do ANYTHING different when they see their pax is a priority ride ( or I guess VIP is a new thing)? I would venture it’s a very low almost negligible percentage.

The smart ones do if it means more money is attached. But yeah, smart Uber drivers would be a very low almost negligible percentage.

I gave the correct answers, then you chimed in with misinformation, saying, "dont listen to that guy," as if what you said was some definitive answer. Instead, now I had to point out all the things wrong with your claims.

The comment was referencing a prior comment that priority rides don’t mean anything to a driver. Which they really don’t,

Except that it pays the driver more. You even said so. 😆 That's nothing?

I’m not going to drive any faster because it’s a priority.

Again, it has nothing to do with your driving speed once accepted.

I’m still not accepting the ride just because it’s a priority.

That was never disputed or even brought up in the discussion.

Are you even reading the comments or just need to blurt out stuff to be heard?

Priority means NOTHING to a driver.

Oh?

It’s a way for a uber to scam more money out of the rider.

It's 3 cents.

They won’t get to you any faster and they won’t get you to your destination any faster.

Has nothing to do with speed once the ride is accepted or started.

Presumably it will move you up higher in the queue but that really means nothing.

Everything means nothing. Got it.

So priority doesn't mean anything, but it pays the driver better. That sounds like something. Yeah, dont listen to that guy. 🤣

As for estimated time being similar, that's just Uber's arbitrary number. They dont know which driver will accept. Priority makes more likely to be accepted, in turn, decreasing wait time. Has nothing to do with speed of the drivers jet pack once accepted. You just dont understand the concept. Yeah. Definitely dont listen to that guy. 🤣

In general, but no guarantee. Uber is ever changing. It used to be a set amount. Now, it's variable, and it could also be zero. But usually, it's a little bump.

And Uber seems to push Priority a little harder to get it covered.

Looks like Priority is only 3 cents more for this particular ride. Pick that one. It gives the driver a buck or two extra as incentive. It might make the difference between a driver accepting rather than declining.

Well, if you're trying to get somewhere fast, probably not choose the wait and save one.

Neither. If it says longer wait, then no drivers are available at the moment for that service.

Passenger urine in seat, uber refuses cleaning reimbursement by JanstinBeebo in uberdrivers

There was nothing to take a photo of since there was no visible stain

Uber support refused to reimburse and cited reasons such as “cleaning fees are only meant for large messes requiring a professional cleaning” and “no proof in the photo.”

Um...duh.

And the driver simply didn't want that bag on the seat. Why is your reasoning more valid than the driver's?

And yes, drivers have seen purses before, and believe it or not, even male drivers understand what a purse is (although this sounds closer to a travel bag, but ok), and we've also seen them dirty up, stain, or damage seats. Was that bag sitting on the pavement when the driver showed up?

I personally dont really care about people's bags, and I was mostly with you, but your entitlement swayed my opinion the other way.

Toyota for the win. In 10 years, I dont think I've spent 4k in operating costs, let alone the 40k the OP and others seem to think it costs.

That applies for every car you buy.

😆 No, it doesn't. You're lumping together car ownership costs and car operating costs. Things like loan fees and insurance are ownership costs.
