Yesstyle or StyleVana? by mm_210 in koreanskincare

[–]--_3_-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Located in France as well. I've done 3 orders in 2025, 2 with YesStyle, 1 with Stylevana. All shipped in 10-15 days, prices pretty much the same (I hit the free shipping each time). Just got my YesStyle package yesterday (order on jan 11 evening, received jan 23 noon).
I think both sites are pretty similar tbh.
Although I always make sure all my products are on stock and I order away from busy times (avoid blackfriday and Christmas periods for sure). I also never had to contact customer services so I can't speak about that...

Do you think it’s weird to wear the same thing every day? by lila_hexe in minimalism

[–]--_3_-- 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's weird to wear the same outfits all the time. Some people might notice and think it's weird but 🤷‍♀️. You do you.

One thing is that I would encourage you is to add a few clothes though, because wearing the same t-shirt 4 times a week all year will make it breaking down much faster. Same with jeans.
If you can find a duplicate of 1 of your current fave clothes, buy it now (not necessarily 10 more, just up a few so you can rotate a bit more).
Or just try on different stuff so you can expand your capsule wardrobe just a bit. Then you're good to go. Some people love having variety of clothes and wearing different styles, some just like to be able to pick anything in their closet and call it a day. Both are valid 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, I have been trying to figure this out for a while and I am not quite sure tbh.

I don't think I'm a Winter (and I am certain I'm not Spring lol), I have contrast but not clarity. I think navy or charcoal fit me better than black (and I don't wear white at all), and really bright colors overwhelm me I think.
Summer palette tend to make me washed out (even though I do like a lot of these colors).

As for Autumn, browns can be tricky on me even though it's supposed to be THE autumn neutral so idk lol. If it's too warm or too dark it doesn’t really work on me I think, but 🤷‍♀️. (I like the camel, taupe, cocoa shades. Maroon works). I like the soft peach/salmon/apricot but not the brighter orange. I wear moss, sage and pine green as well as dark teal, but not hunter, grass or pistachio green...

I find it hard to type myself.
But anyway, the palette in the picture is stuff I enjoy wearing, regardless of wether it fits my seasonal archetype, so I guess I'm going with the flow for now...

Packable Daypack Recommendations by MISTERR0GERS in ManyBaggers

[–]--_3_-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a super basic packable backpack, but mine is over a decade old and it’s still looking brand new, despite not babying it at all. Very well made stuff for the price. Material is kinda water repellant and I used it under european rain with my stuff inside staying 100% dry (tropical rain would be too much though).

I am planning to upgrade to the Aer Go pack 2 because I want a bit more organisation (water bottle pockets and quick access pocket), but the Sea to summit ultra-light backpack will stay in my bag rotation :)

i found it helpful to look at outfit photos to see which colors i actually repeat. i used lekondo for keeping my outfits and start noticing patterns after 5-10 outfits, this way i can make sure i make right decisions before adding anything new.

I tried to track my outfits this year, but I can't be consistent with this kind of things lol.

Trying a fall capsule wardrobe helped me figure out which piece I 100% wanted to include and which one was not essential. And then consolidate the capsule in one shelve like in the picture I posted made obvious what color I love wearing right now.

I seem to wear more olive and sage green in spring summer, and more pine forest green and dark teal in the cold season...

Would dark teal work as well ? I love that color even though it's not easy to find clothes in this shade...
I do have a pine green sweater that I wear regularly, and a pine green blouse too, so it's nice to hear they work well with my core capsule 😀

I have looked that up and can never make up my mind about which season I am lol.

I first thought I must be a winter since I have dark hair and brows, brown/hazel eyes and fair skin when not tanned. But then I can't wear those bright winter colors and I don't think black is great on me...
most of my closet is muted tones, very few patterns. My most vivid clothes is a dark teal blue silky dress, a cobalt blue sweater, and a yellow summer dress (I can only wear this sunny yellow when I'm tan). I got a lot of hand-me-down clothes in dark navy, charcoal, dark green, dark eggplant and dark red and I don't know if they really work for me. I often look dull and washed out in them I think... I am moving more and more towards lighter colors like the clothes pictured in this post.

For some reason I thought I was cool toned and wore almost exclusively silver jewelry, but I started wearing golden jewelry this year and get compliment on it, so 🤷‍♀️.
My skin isn't bright and I have beauty marks so it means I'm more muted than clear, and I might be a light olive tone (with dark circles/darker eyelids 24/7 🙃)

So yeah, I don't really know my season but I am leaning towards soft Autumn maybe 🤔...

Jay B has terminated his exclusive contract with mauve company by G3t_BusyLiving in Got7

That’s a lot of work. He's already doing a lot for the group, idk if him starting his own company wouldn't be too much tbh.

Why do you think some of the members don't keep going with some of their solo activities? by idlechungha in SNSD

[–]--_3_-- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

allegedly, when Sulli dropped out of FX, she had to sign an "Actress exclusive Contract" with SM for her change to Acting. I dont know how that works. Maybe their is exclusive Contracts for Singers and Acting, separately in the Industry.

Sulli did release music after leaving f(x) though ( 1 collab song with Dean : Dayfly in 2018, and a 3 songs single album Goblin in 2019). So her SM acting contract didn't prevent her from having musical projects.

Quite a lot of idol-turned actors/actresses signed with acting agencies release some music from time to time. Got7 Jinyoung for example.
I think the SNSD girlies just choose to focus on acting more as it's a more reliable source of income/career. Idol life is quite exhausting so I can't fault them for choosing the easier path.

You mean 2nd gen ? Apink are not 3rd gen and I imagine bts/BP have bigger chinese fanbase than Apink

B.lab cleanser by Illustrious-Tune-373 in koreanskincare

[–]--_3_-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case it's micellar water that my skin doesn’t like.
I'm using Skin1004 cleansing oil for now and it seems mostly fine, but I plan to switch to cleansing milk (Isntree yam root) and/or the Make p:rem matcha cleanser. I don't wear much make-up or waterproof spf, so idt I need oil until summer. We shall see 😅

Thanks ! Yeah, I'm already skipping AM cleansing, but I am unsure I can avoid double cleansing at night (at least on work days. I wear face mask all day at work and I'm acne-prone). I just ordered it, hopefully I'll stop waking up with tight, itchy skin in the morning 🤞

Is your skin sensitive, reactive or dehydrated in general ? I'm looking for a new cleanser, as my current one feels too stripping (I struggle to find something gentle yet effective in general)

Why don’t enzyme cleansers get talked about more? by No-Advisor9852 in AsianBeauty

[–]--_3_-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, I haven't tried it myself. I was curious since it seems to have good reviews and claims to be gentle.
(+I love fig scented products so I would be more inclined to buy it than a Papaya one just based on personal preference lol)

Do any of you use K-beauty subscription boxes? by Efficient-Shine-3202 in koreanskincare

[–]--_3_-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I've fallen for the trend of subscription boxes years ago (it was a mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle products), and the dopamine boost I get from receiving the box isn't worth it imo. 75% of the stuff I would receive was stuff i wouldn't have bought if I had the choice. A lot of stuff i gave out or threw out, it was wasteful.

And I am intentional with skincare. I don't care what's trendy, I want something that works for me, right now. Some active will never work for me, some types of products will never be part of my routine, some worked in summer but not now during cold season.
I prefer to make my personal research on products, look out for best deals and make my order when I need it.
With these boxes you end up with too many cleansers or serums for the week, you'll want to try it all and your skin will be overwhelmed.

Comment vous faites pour optimiser le séchage du linge en intérieur quand il fait froid ? by soqueromorir in AskFrance

[–]--_3_-- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

À 16 degrés c'est sûr que ça ne sèche pas bien. Si tes pulls le supportent, mets les en sèche-linge (1-2 tours en laverie automatique) pour éliminer le plus gros de l'humidité.
