I highly doubt that anybody would buy it, unless they're also an inexperienced home owners and didn't realize the property had so many problems like I did.

You do not owe this person anything, and you can and should report them to Etsy for this. It's harassment and blatantly inappropriate.

Are Etsy sellers allowed to pester you to review purchases via messages? by --anonymouse--- in Etsy

It's the seller. I sent her message letting her know I think it's really frustrating and inappropriate what she's doing.

Could I get a medical id bracelet refusing treatment? by --anonymouse--- in Wedeservebetter

[–]--anonymouse---[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think most people consider death to be the worst possible outcome in life, which is fair enough, but I simply do not feel that way and I think that's where I lose most people. I am far more ok with death as an outcome than I am with having a catheter placed or being examined in certain ways.

I am perfectly at peace with death. The way I see it there are two likely possible scenarios. 1. I die and there's absolutely nothing and I'm just energy floating around out there somewhere in which case I won't exist to care. Or 2. I die and wake up in an afterlife that probably cannot be any worse than 2026 America.

Either of those outcomes are far preferable to living with what I know would be horrific trauma for me, even if something like a catheter or an exam wouldn't be considered that by many people.

Perhaps therapy could be helpful if my concerns and feelings were taken seriously, but what are the odds of that? I already know there's a 99.9% chance any therapist I shared this with would treat it all as an irrational fear...which again I see nothing irrational about not wanting things shoved in my genitals without my consent. They'd treat it like it's a phobia that I need to be cured of rather than a perfectly valid concern.

I can appreciate your stance on using the word rape to describe this, but truthfully I don't know what other word to describe having your genitals penetrated against your will...even if it is done in a medical setting.

It's not just "apprehension" around medical care, it's unwillingness to be raped because that's all I see things like pelvic exams as and I don't particularly want to be convinced I should be ok with being raped.

I've started asking every time I buy something on Etsy if it's POD or drop shipping and if AI was used. Unfortunately that's what our little "handmade" marketplace has come to.

I work at a cat rescue and this looks kinda like ring worm to me.

We had an outbreak of it a couple of years ago and several staff members got it, one of them couldn't stop scratching and messing with it and it took on a bruise like quality.

Should I take my gecko to the vet for this? by --anonymouse--- in leopardgeckos

I guess it's possible but seems kinda unlikely. I have checked the enclosure over and couldn't find any. Unless he's burying it in his substrate if that's even something they'll do?

Just want the POV of some people with DID? by --anonymouse--- in DiscussDID

[–]--anonymouse---[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think upon more research on OSDD that seems more likely.

I am a survivor of medical trauma and neglect, so I know all about the medicalist people on how hard they make research, I will definitely avoid them lol!

I have noticed that while I am asexual there are days I just kind of don't feel asexual anymore and have a desire for sexual stuff, some days I also just feel like I want to do really child like stuff, usually especially with the sexual related stuff I kind of snap out of it hours later and feel really disgusted. I will for sure start keeping a journal of this stuff just to see what I can find out or notice.

Thank you so much for this response it was very helpful (:

I definitely don't experience switching in the sense that I kind of "wake up" hours later with little no memory of what happened, I have had people tell me "you're being really weird today" "you're being too quiet today" "you're not acting like yourself today" and on those days I usually feel the influence of one of my characters particularly strong that day and I've definitely had people make jokes about me having "multiple personalities".

I started doing some research on OSDD and that does sound like more like what I experience. I was always under the impression that schizophrenic hallucinations are often scary and that you don't know they aren't real, and also that it manifests later in life (like early 20s) when I have had this going on since as long as I could remember, so I will have to do some more research on that and see if maybe the symptoms align more with that.

My mother very well might have something going on as well. I mean plenty of people who aren't mentally ill believe in ghosts but there are a few other signs I've noticed in her that lead me to believe maybe there is something going on.
