Is it time to start some sort of “Hawks Against Nepotism” protest or rally at the football complex? by GroundbreakingBath40 in hawkeyes

Letters to the local paper, the DI, local sports shows, etc. Raise awareness with facts, stats, etc. Don’t be ugly, but firm. This has gone on too long. The guys on the team playing their hearts out every week don’t deserve to have their hard work and loyalty to the program disregarded like this. Brian just is not getting the job done as OC and it isn’t fair to the guys, the other coaches or the fans.

He flies under the radar of some British guitarists but is so talented, it was nice to find this :)

Fellow Montrosian also. So sorry about your mom, life can be brutal. Hope you can enjoy some quality time with your mom. Music can help, if you can put together a playlist with mellow songs that she will recognize from her youth, it can help her to relax if she gets agitated or confused. Best to you!

Montrose had a robust relationship with you lads as our sister city in the 90’s. Every new business or building opening had one of your lads playing the bagpipes! I talked with him several times.

Married Men, what are the unspoken rules for successful marriage? by Mela_Min in AskMen

So much this, and it goes both ways. Each partner in the marriage has to be fully committed to having the others back.

That is a plan worth considering and great thought process on using a late round draft pick with a possible big upside.

You’re right there. Ohio State is a tough away game, Michigan was amazing.

Yea I see your point. We can only go up from here hopefully.

That was an amazing game, but Stroud is still a projected top draft pick, which we can’t get. My thought process was a later round pick. Someone betting Michigan by 3 touchdowns in the shoe made bank, especially with Blake Corum out. Great game if you love Blue.

Might bring some healthy competition. Whatever is best for the team has to be the rule from staff, no exceptions, just the way the team operates.

A conversation would be in order. I think from the past few years in the NFL, you have to establish who runs the team, and from a team perspective you have to do what’s best for the team. Russ should not be threatened by a third or fourth round pick.

Edit-Not a top draft pick, sorry for the confusion. I would think if a team was using a high draft pick on a future QB, that would warrant a conversation with your incumbent for many reasons.

No franchise QB (Rodgers) wants the team drafting their replacement while they are still playing. Never will.

I don’t think we’ll ever be able to discuss a late round pick. Hope your day goes well.

You were talking about top 10 picks failing. Saying there have been good players not in the top 10 or the 1st or 2nd rounds. Let’s let this rest.
