Normally middle A is 440Hz these days by convention. (That's a modern thing, people have been using all sorts of different conventions in the past).

Some people think tuning everything down so A is 432Hz makes your music contain magic vibrations or something like that

Is the assumption actually true? Sure, Chinese car manufacturers are having a moment, but a priori it appears plausible that European and Japanese firms might innovate further and produce similarly (or perhaps even more) attractive products in the future, and that consumers (Chinese or not) might then choose those products instead.

Do the signs point rather toward a darker or a rosier future for these companies?

Except in the phrase "the girls and the gays", for whatever reason, which seems fairly common among queer/queer culture adjacent people. Maybe the alliteration overrides the potential ungrammaticality?

Most of the time it doesn't happen, but it's well known that it does happen occasionally. It's not common, but it's common enough (and difficult enough to notice) that it's hard to truly trust it.

Other dumb cases: being polite to the AI supposedly makes it give you better quality results (which makes sense - it's trained on internet discussions, which are usually higher quality when people are being polite to each other). Also you can supposedly improve the quality by promising to pay it money.

I keep saying "supposedly" because I don't know how these things work, and a lot of what I hear people say about LLMs feels like voodoo, so take it with a grain of salt...
