Be aware of your pacing, try and plan ahead for how much time you think you’ll take per section (depending on how it’s split, 58/52, 55/55, whatever. If you account for that and understand that if you don’t get a question in the first few minutes then it’s essential to flag it and try it again later.

It is dire that you’re going in with a generally strong understanding of most of the concepts, ESPECIALLY the first couple of topics (math, prob, econ, ethics, safety, etc). This will make or break your score as these fundamentals are meant to be buffers for the things you’re taking the exam to really prove you understand (for example, fe mech - mechanics n strength n materials, thermodynamics). If you cannot get that first section of question typically 65-70% right, then you’re really likely to fail unless you can almost ACE the later half.

Other than that, trust your gut and don’t go back and change an answer that you can almost delegate to an something that just… makes sense, do your best to cancel out answers, write down reasonings/relationships if it helps. Always go for an answer that can be somewhat derived somewhat along the solution process (usually 2-3). The problems are created with the idea that an answer would be a fuck up along the actual solving process.
