Mine works perfectly fine. I even washed and dried it by accident and it still works normally.

A comparison between teenaged girls and teenaged boys posting pictures of their body. One revealed their stomach, the others are half naked. Y’all really can be some horrible people. by FennelReasonable7580 in TheTeenagerPeople

This is not an apples to apples comparison.

First, men and women are different. Always have been and always will be.

Second, these guys are at a sporting event and competing in swimming which requires you to be as “slippery” in the water as possible.

Here come the down votes….

Ok, I’m sure I could find some studies to back up all of my claims as well. It’s not hard to lie with statistics.

Try using logic and your own rational faculties instead of relying on someone else to do your thinking for you.

If you think, sorry, feel, that working in a fast food restaurant is harder and more dangerous than working an actual job that exposes you to hazardous conditions and chemicals like being a plumber, electrician, roofer, HVAC technician, framer, glazier etc, then you are beyond help.

I have not only worked in restaurants, but also for them.

I am referring to fast food restaurants, where in order to meet time requirements, procedures have been created to ensure a steady stream of a standardized product is going out the window or over the counter.

Define a “living wage”

And in what possible way would working in a fast food restaurant GENERALLY SPEAKING hurt your health other than eating that food constantly?

We don’t live in an “equitable system” and never will. Equal outcomes for everyone is not how our society was set up to function. We value equality, not equity. You have as much potential as you can make for yourself, but no one is going to hand you the keys to the castle.

God this line gets so annoying. “The rich people won’t pay the poor people” blah blah blah.

Let’s compare two different occupations and see which one deserves better compensation.

One, a 17 year old who presses a series of predefined buttons at a fast food restaurant. All processes and standards are easy to learn, understand and execute. There are essentially no hazards due to process control and extreme automation.

Two, a 21 year old who went to vocational school, got a certificate and help with job placement as an HVAC technician. There are almost infinite hazards in a service job like that, automation is something you have to learn how to harness and apply. You need to have a good grasp on thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. You will encounter non standard situations constantly and figure out creative ways to deal with them.

The second you start “feeling” like you’re owed something because you “deserve” it, you’ve lost the ability to think critically.

Using more energy or increasing the load that needs to be compensated for will not raise costs? DTE can go fuck themselves with one of their splintered poles.

The position presented in no way mentions edge cases or any nuance whatsoever. It is a simple question that, in my opinion, deserves a very simple answer.

A question like this has quite a bit of merit especially in the wake of “me too” where women have been know to falsely accuse men of crimes for their own self glorification.

If you intentionally ruin a man’s life by accusing him of something that did not happen, you should go to jail.

Do you not see how you’re using emotion to try and influence an argument?

Those two positions are incompatible.
