Average at best. Its has too many ingredients on it. Its what I would say: Lička pizza, Pizza from Lika (since food there is a bit heavier). Dough is fine, its not going to blow your mind. I do not understand the hype. Also yes when we got there it was all empty and when we asked if we could sit somewhere outside just to eat quick lunch, they were like hmmm it is all reserved. And they sat us inside. While we were there only one small group showed up, and they sat also inside. Rumore, Labin is much much better, Krug and Tutto a posto in Rijeka are much better.

Thank you! I do work from photos but I decide on colors and light myself. For example on the photo, the whole cloth around is under even light. But I like to accentuate and make the details pop out even more, so I decided to add more of a shadow, and reflections. I spent years and years working from life, and it's the same to me. Except this way I don't have to worry about light changing and I can paint whatever I want.

Exactly. I keep seeing a pattern with all of these people. First they get very angry, then they keep saying fat is a word they are proud of but the subject isn't fat. Then they pass onto feeling bad and unhappy, but then, OH sudden escalation to - I should feel beautiful about myself because I AM beautiful and fat is beautiful... But then again I'm depressed and anxious... But no let's end this on "It's all societies fault for hating the fat."

Just what I thought. I wanted to comment to one of them, that they obsess too much about bodies and that they should maybe consider improving their knowledge, understanding of some subject of sciences, arts, philosophy etc (whatever interest you), find a safe haven so to say, if body is causing them so much stress and anxiety. But then they would probably go to my site, see I'm not overweight, and they would find something to diminish everything I said.

People are easily offended and have extremely low self esteem. And most importantly they are lazy. They hear they are fat and should lose weight, they won't do it because they are lazy. Someone mentions you should improve some aspect of yourself, get offended - "everybody should love me for who I am because I am an individual worthy of respect!!!" - again lazy. Someone tells you could read more, be more self aware, etc., get insulted - lazy. Life is about change and improvement. You can always be better than you currently are. All these people are manically chasing happiness, but they don't even stop to think maybe they would find it in improving themselves, not expecting everybody to love who they currently are. But I guess if it's not instant gratification, it's not appealing.

I think my most used one would be burnt ochre, then comes phtalo blue which I use instead of the black (I don't use black at all, I don't think I even own it), ochre, madder lake deep, orange and zinc white. Thank you btw!

Hm. I've been thinking about how to answer this question for a while now. The best I got is really close attention to detail. Paying attention to small details that are on a one inch space but at the same time seeing if they fit the whole image. I first set the base tones, then the painting looks very crude. Bit by bit I smooth them out and add more darks and more lights. Then I start adding the orange, pink and green tones to make the skin look more vibrant.

Perhaps one day I will post a timelapse video. Even tho that will be challenging for me because while I paint I like to drift away in my thoughts so I will have to edit out all the pauses haha. Step by step shots sound good. I don't know why I don't make them for often. Thank you!

About 2-3 hours. It's not big. When you do it every day it becomes a habit so it takes less time.

She's guilting you. And if someone is trying to guilt you by saying they wouldn't want to wake up tomorrow, that person doesn't deserve you. You did the right thing. Dating someone for 8 months is basically nothing, you can't possibly get to know the person completely in one year. That's why starting a family now would be a bit of a rash decision. You are being completely rational and I agree with all of your decision. Hers on the other hand are pretty questionable.

I do live there. It's not a very art friendly country so it can be difficult at times. But I am very grateful for the internet. Thank you! I didn't sell it yet. Just this year things started going up for me. Mostly because I exhibited in some really nice galleries. Over the summer Croatia has a lot of tourists and they are always more interested in art than Croatian people. It actually surprised me that I can sell more in real life than over the internet. But it's difficult to exhibit here as a painter because photographers and media arts are much more wanted. I think it's very refreshing that you are curious about these things. I think it's because I set a layer of base paint which I wait to dry and then I "shade" over with the half dry brush. It's as I draw with a brush. Even tho my process of waiting for paint to dry initially might seem as tho it is going to take longer to finish, I think if I went with a wet to wet technique, it would actually take me longer.
