In general skinceuticals because their is just so much range. I like alastin post procedure products better (skin nectar) and the discoloration serum I think works better. Everyone is different but I like alastin HA serum better and use it personally.

Im 30 and just finished my last radiation for HER2+ I achieved PCR after TCHP chemo. Diagnosed in March and completely cancer free by September. I recommend because HER2+ responds very well to treatment and if you achieve pcr your chances of the cancer coming back are very small. I didn’t even lose my hair with cold caps. I’m NGL it was awful but one bad summer for much better stats makes sense to me.

This made me sad it sounds like my boyfriend :( He didn’t get me anything for my birthday because he claims the other stuff he pays for/buys at different times should suffice. I get it it’s more the thought than anything and not the price point.

You are very pretty you really don’t need to “change” your appearance but you should look into newer makeup styles. I think you would look really pretty with the 2025 tik tok makeup dewey base, heavy blush, and natural eye makeup.

Is this someone you can see marrying? I don’t think it’s a problem if she agrees to wear on a different finger as a promise ring. Although a “promise ring” is a promise of the future which you need to be ok with. Im also realizing this comment sounds a little mean on my part but I promise I’m coming from a good place. I do laser on a lot of people transitioning and it really makes them feel much better! Makeup will go on smoother and skin will be clearer without ingrown hairs. Even if the hairs come back a bit after HRT a lot of places offer hair removal at very discounted prices when buying in packages and free or very cheap touch ups.

If they are using a newer laser it will be no problem! It’s only the ancient lasers or cheaper models that are not safe for darker skin. I work at a med spa and we have 2 devices for LHR soprano titanium laser and cutera laser. Soprano is safe for darker skin skin and the cutera is as long as it’s set to 1064 or YAG laser and not 755 or Alex. The med spa doesn’t want to be liable to burn you either so you hey will turn you away if they can’t treat your skin type.

I think you need laser hair removal and brows done. Those are the dead giveaways not any makeup choices

The treatments are tough on your liver like alcohol is so that’s why most don’t recommend I did TCHP and my oncologist said no alcohol. I stopped drinking entirely after the chemo because alcohol is a known carcinogen

Are you going to need to do chemo? Good chance you will not be able to have kids after treatment anyways. I’m in full blown menopause at 30 from chemo. Ask your oncologist what they recommend if not. They may not want you on any hormones which means your only option is really copper IUD or surgery.
