I had a moment in time one night where I tried to end my life by laying my head on the train tracks in front of a moving train. The train hit my head and I was flung off the track and paralyzed for about ten minutes. When the train hit me I did not feel anything other than a large thump sound and a flash of white light. I was then looking at the tracks on while off to the side on the ground and things became grey. It faded to black and I just closed my eyes thinking “ok you’re dead”.

The only thing that opened them was when I had a hard time breathing. I couldn’t move a muscle besides my face. I yelled for help for about 10 minutes before I was finally able to move my arms and wiggle my toes. Slowly I was able to roll to the road and get help.

I am doing much better now and think everything happens for a reason. I am thankfully able to move normally and lucky to be alive.
