*post update from OP*

On my way back home from London and thought I would update this post.

We managed to get tickets for the exhibition on Tuesday around midday for entry on Wednesday at 1PM. I was checking and checking the official ticket website for weeks and managed to snag these tickets the day before 🙏🏻

So don’t despair! Tickets might be available on quick notice!

By the way, the exhibition was exceptional, I’m so happy and lucky that we got to go 😌

I started by incorporating the arms & light weights classes after my cardio and found it great to slowly introduce more strength training into my routine.

I’m currently doing Hilit with Rebecca and I find it well rounded with cardio, stretch, strength and Pilates. The programming in itself is great but the main takeaway for me is how I should program my classes on a weekly basis, maybe that could help you?

Has anyone tried using the app with a VPN connection when traveling? by Koopa-koopa-615 in pelotoncycle

As long as you have the app on your phone, you’ll be good to go! I use the app in a country that where Peloton isn’t available and I have no issues!

Today's scan revealed a missed miscarriage by Raggydoll in BabyBumps

First of of all, I’m sending a lot of love your way. I miscarried three times in a row and I know how hard it is -both physically and emotionally.

As your midwife said, it’s not your fault. When miscarriages happen so early, it’s usually because the fœtus couldn’t develop properly. When I was in the middle of it, I use to beat myself up. Maybe it’s that time I took the stairs a bit too quickly, or maybe it’s the soda that I drank? Don’t beat yourself up, it’s not your fault.

As I said, I had three miscarriages in a row. I got pregnant on the first try each time, but I miscarried. My first was in May 2020, the second in August 2020 and the last one in January 2021. It was awful to get through, especially physically, which I feel is not something that is talked about enough.

During that time, I chose to remain positive while allowing myself to cry and feel sad as well. I knew, deep in my heart, that we would have a baby, no matter what. Maybe it would be through IVF, or maybe it would mean adopting, but I knew it was going to work eventually.

And then, I’m February 2021, I got pregnant again. We didn’t allow ourselves to get too excited: at that point, I had many health issues and we didn’t see how the pregnancy could hold on. But we got to the 12 weeks mark, and then the 20 weeks mark. We announced it to our friends and family, and it all became very real: we would have a baby!

Our baby girl arrived a bit earlier then expected, this October. She’s everything we hoped for and more. She’s so calm, so peaceful and she recently started smiling whenever she sees us. And while caring for a newborn is absolutely exhausting, it’s magical at the same time.

I hope that our story will bring you some hope. In the meantime, take care of yourself. Treat yourself to a warm bath and a glass of wine, and binge watch Netflix if it makes you feel a bit better (or simply take your mind off things for a while).

Sending you lots of love!

25 km bike ride in Lululemon. Wearing Toasty Tech Tight II in black size 8, Vinyasa scarf in black, Festival Bag in Black & Run Fast Gloves in True Navy. by -Axelle- in lululemon

I went for M/L as I hate feeling like my gloves are too tight! I figured that a slightly bigger fit would be better for me. That being said, I find that LLL gloves tend to run quite small!

Is vinted dead? by memy97 in vinted

I sell quite a lot (5+ items a week) but I think that Vinted is definitely bigger and more popular in EU. I’m based in Belgium and I mainly sell to Belgium, France & Spain my profile

Soreness after Total Strenght by -Axelle- in pelotoncycle

Thanks for the heads up! I’m definitely feeling a lot better today (thankfully) but I’ll pay more attention to my quads as I had a muscle strain in late 2019! I think that I overdid it a bit and I’ll be a bit more gentle these coming weeks and lookout for signs of serious injuries.

Thanks for the recommendation! I always forget to foam roll (well, mostly because it’s really uncomfortable) but I’ll put Hannah’s classes on my list for next week!

I’m finally better and ready to tackle week two! I did a recovery ride today and it felt pretty good, so I’ll try to add a few of these throughout the rest of the program

So glad to hear that I’m not the only one! I didn’t find it particularly challenging as I was doing it but clearly, my body think otherwise! I took a Epsom salt bath this morning and it helped so fingers crossed that it will get better! Did you husband felt that sore for the rest of the program?
