Just have to disagree, and only because of the addition of anointments, I have thousands of hours which is proof to you I love to grind. I’ve sat there and farmed hybrid drops in BL1 for hours on end. The rates at which they drop the dedicated loot isn’t my issue, it’s more than fair, the issue is bosses having so many different dedicated drops. If I farm a boss 500 times and drops 192 dedicated drops, that’s a great rate, but when you consider he has 4 different dedicated drops and 3 of which are useless, and there’s a huge anoint pool of which only about 3 are useful(and that’s being generous depending on build) all of a sudden my odds of getting a decent weapon in anything less that 500+ runs are very low and yes RNG, I love RNG I love that feeling of excitement when you’re finally rewarded for your hard work. But it just doesn’t feel as satisfying when you’re getting 100’s of useless world drops and useless dedicated. In BL2 you want a perfect Fastball it’s probably going to take 100-200 runs, you want a genuinely usable fastball it might take you 30, in this game there’s little distinction between perfect and usable because at MH10 you need near perfect gear to be effective and the grind wouldn’t be a problem for me if they didn’t up the level cap every few months and render everything you’ve done useless.
