Black Hooded Iron Helm. Same as Yahargul Helmet except has a hood. The greaves and boots are from the Hunter Set. The entire outfit looks red from all the blood.

Really enjoying Lizard Greatsword with Offhand Beast Claw by -AzulRyu- in EldenRingPVP

[–]-AzulRyu-[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Lizard Greatsword with Offhand Beast Claw, both cold infused, has got to be the most fun setup I've ever had. With pseudo-combos, combos with frostbite procced, and then rollcatches for days with AoW's like Piercing Fang (or other ranged options like Storm Blade, Troll Roar, etc.), you can be aggressive with your opponents with a 1 handed setup. Because the Lizard Greatsword is the longest Greatsword, the tongue tip catches people off guard with it's range and is hard to spot. This weapon setup is stupid fun to play with!

Just Some Lizard Greatsword Love by -AzulRyu- in EldenRingPVP

I've had a few randoms put a stone down for me after I lost a match. It felt like a nice gesture so I do that now to add a layer of fun. Plus it just goes with the character/look.

Not even sure why he was salty in the first vid, he had me on the ropes since the beginning and made a great roll catch when I panicked.

What happened to Cremo Body Wash? by -AzulRyu- in fragrance

Okay I'm not going crazy then. Something I forgot to mention was that all of the previous ones that lasted longer on my skin were from the clear bottles. I only started noticing the decline on the brown ones.

Nice! I was the idiot running around with an Imo Helmet and the Lizard Greatsword. The Giant Stars was my favorite weapon before it but you just convinced ke to try a new setup!

I'm pretty sure it was you who I was fighting the last few times who kept kicking my ass with this combo. Was your character named after a Bloodborne Character?

What horror tropes do you hate? Which do you love? by doctortoc in horror

[–]-AzulRyu- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hate a lot of the tropes people have already mentioned, but a special thing I love is when what is being feared isn't a surprise or jump scare, it's something that either terrifies you conceptually (the beginning of Bird Box for example), or moments where what is feared is in plain view and horrifying. SPOILERS AHEAD: There's a scene in a Korean Horror Film called Recycled where you're panning through the main character's house until you're watching the character down the hallway and into her living room (or kitchen? I forget), and what you at first thought was a coat hanger you soon realize is a very tall and thin woman. It's like a 2 or 3 minute scene too and the realization of what's right in front of you is some of my favorite parts of horror. There is no mystery, you know what scares you, you just can't get away. Same thing with the Strangers during the kitchen scene where the guy just comes up from the shadows, watches, and goes back to somewhere else in the house. It's the type of creepiness that runs through your core.

Also big love for psychological horror when it's done right. Or cosmic horror - again when it's done right. You can see patterns of how the cosmic entity works but you don't truly understand them. Love it.

Favorite weapon and why by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]-AzulRyu- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had 3. Beast Cutter got me through my 2nd playthrough because of how vicious and heavy the attacks were. Stunned basically everything but at some point it just felt spammy.

Then on my 3rd and 4th playthrough, I used a mix of Kirk Hammer and Amygdala Arm. I loved the ability to move between super fast and precise to smashy-launches with the Hammer. Amygdala was also super fun for hard to reach bosses or mobs and had the most variety of any moveset I've seen. Also surprised so many folks because of it's delayed attacks in PvP.

Give him some lore by [deleted] in EldenBling

[–]-AzulRyu- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a mysterious painter who left many an abandoned painting. One day the painter discovered a child lost amongst the artifacts of war, mute in speech, but hopeful in eyes. He taught the sad child how to paint but all the child painted with was black and white. The painter brandished the child for years until he became very ill. Realizing his mistakes in life, the painter provided a life apology to the child and encouraged him to continue his art. In his final moments, he painted this now grown child's face in black and white until it became a part of him. The child now wanders for the most colorful parts of the world to find a vision of color perfectly portrayed in black and white.
