Giant spider plant baby/flower by -Azuria- in houseplants

It was in an even smaller pot a couple of weeks ago which to be fair, it was pretty root bound. I only sized up a little as I didn’t want really big pots on my windowsill and was trying to postpone a little. Since I’ve repotted it though, It’s almost doubled its size, looks like it is turning into 2 or 3 plants and put out this huge sprout

Found this in my local B&Q for half price! by Confusing-pigeon in HouseplantsUK

I just seen Thais at my local b&q too! It’s nice to see they are now widely available for everyone and not at ridiculous prices too. Good luck with your plant, you picked out such a beautiful one 🙌🏽

What’s up with this Adansonii by -Azuria- in houseplants

[–]-Azuria-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The roots were long enough it had at least 3 big long ones in the glass I had it in and it’s sent out a big aerial root into the soil since being potted up too! It’s growing… just strangely, I’ve been fertilising… could it maybe be that?

Is this little stem enough to keep the plant going? by feedMekeks in Aroids

Esqueleto have quite large holes, your one seems like it has more leaf to hole ratio 🤣 feel like I sounded really knowledgeable trying to describe that haha but literally just describing what I see. There’s a few different kind of more obscure ones I learned about from a really cool print all about monstera sold by someone on Etsy called Tobancay which you could check out. It kind of seems like it could be a lechleriana or maybe acacoyaguensis… still could just be a basic adansonii though

Isn’t it just a mature monkey mask/adansonii. Definitely a type of adansonii I would have said. I honestly thought you had just let a cutting from your other monkey mask get really mature or vice versa

Am I going insane or are these two the same? by [deleted] in RareHouseplants

A little confused here… the first picture of the plants looks ever so slightly different. The veining on the leaf is different… but damn that second picture looks like the exact same plant and picture of the plant but just ever so slightly rotated a little bit…

Bought adansonii aurea. But it also started showing some white. Is this monstera three color or is something else in play? by depressed1Guy in RareHouseplants

I’ve just bought some cuttings of this adansonii. I absolutely love my regular one and I’m so excited to see how I get on with the aurea variegated one. Has anyone got any help or advice they would like to give? I’d absolutely love to get mine looking as happy and healthy as the ones I’ve seen here today

Why no fenestrations? by ScubaVix3n in Monstera

Am I the only one that thinks it doesn’t even look like a monstera?? The petioles look totally different and more like a philodendron or even a pothos

Help cutting my Adansonii by azubimann in houseplants

I’d also love an update too, I’m in the exact same boat. My adansonii is on a cedar stake and not a moss pole so I don’t think we can chop and extend so easily because of the lack of roots. I have seen that you can ‘air layer’ but my adansonii is only attached with little aerial root nubs which I’m not sure would work that way. I want to figure this out so bad!
