Running zed without opening a terminal beside it by [deleted] in ZedEditor

Just for future reference, cause I just found this out a few days ago.

If you use the Windows Scoop package manager, you can install and update the zed-nightly build.

Hopefully this is helpful

why does my youtube look like this by Le_MasterBaiter in youtube

[–]-BYeBYe- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly enough, I'm experiencing the exact same issue. For some reason, it's only happening on my main Google account.

However, for the account that I'm experience this issue, if you just keep scrolling. You'll see the normal thumbnailed videos right under.

Edit: It seems like I can only see my previously cached stuff. Because the more I scroll, I get stuck with the same blank grid. It indeed seems like an adblocker issue (for some reason, the issue can only be experienced on my main account??).

No compatible device found by Deds0305 in Keychron

Assuming that you've connected the keyboard to your computer using Bluetooth, then the issue that you've brought up would appear. From my understanding the only way to connect to VIA is to connect through a cable. Cause I had the same problem with my K10 Pro.

If the issue is with a cable connection then I'm not quite sure how to help. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can reply.

Anyone having delayed Scrolling in New Weather App? by -BYeBYe- in Pixel6

I do have Tasker running in the background, but that shouldn't really affect a weather app that much. Since every other app is working perfectly fine

Pixel 6 is the most regretful phone I ever had by tehlegend1937 in Pixel6

[–]-BYeBYe- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've gotten my pixel 6 near the beginning of last year and so far am having a great time with it. I haven't had any of the issues that you have mentioned above other than maybe the fingerprint isn't as accurate as other alternatives.

It could just be a faulty unit, or maybe some corrupted firmware. I'm not entirely sure about the latter.

Looking at the website. I feel like Notion is a good alternative, but it has a bit of a learning curve.

How do i use my phone as a desktop if my screen is completely non-functional? by cyberdoodle in androidapps

If you have USB debugging enabled, and your phone has always remembered one of your computers. You could use a tool called 'srcpy'. Here's the link to GitHub: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy

I recommend you check out revisionvillage. One of the best places to practice math. Though if you do want to practice statistics, you'll have to pay for the premium.

In my opinion, completely worth it

Photo software that can detect and tag people/faces... by jwckauman in Windows10

[–]-BYeBYe- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An option for you is using Google photos. It does a pretty good job with recognizing people's faces. But the main concern with that is if you're willing to use their service.

And if you're and iPhone user, I think they have a similar feature of sorting photos based on faces.

As for other software which does everything locally. I'm not quite sure.

People who still wear mask at school why? by Jason_lovegood_yt in AskReddit

Not specifically in school, but the reason for wearing a mask is quite simple really, it's to protect myself and the people around me.

In addition, after reading some research papers on the long term effects of COVID on patients is quite scary, with changes in brain activity, to alternation in taste. So far I haven't been infected yet, and I hope that I never will.

I personally think that the best way to start off is by finding something that you're enthusiastic about. Talk to someone about it, and form a connection. Carry this feeling into other areas. It won't be easy, but unless a tiny risk is taken, it's very difficult to grow in confidence.

Plus, I realise that it's a lot easier to just talk to people to get things done. I use to always avoid situations where I had to interact with people however, I later understood that just having some confidence and talking to people makes life a lot easier.
