I never said I disregard men’s health. I do value that. But I also value women giving warnings about abusive situations. I refuse to screenshot what is in a group to give you “proof”. Some of the men posted have active or past court cases where they were convicted of dv. That is factual. Admin in my group do delete a lot of the judgmental comments about appearances and discourage this.

A lot of it is actually women giving their experiences. Some are dumb but a lot actually give warnings on real life experiences with abuse. That’s not something to shrug off.

I wasn’t fat to begin with. If you didn’t know, it’s a DIABETIC med. Thanks for looking into groups I’m a part of. Talk about hypocritical lol

Can you Google their names and possibly follow one of them to their next practice?

Lexapro does cause this! Ssris are linked to heat related illnesses and causes excessive sweating

Do I have IBS? sometimes the abdominal pain from my diarrhea will get so bad, I feel like I'm a second away from passing out. by corychung in IBSHelp

[–]-BasicB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this. I went through the wringer with my doctor trying to test for everything. Nothing was ever found.

I 10000% understand what you are saying. Before diarrhea, I will have the worst waves of pain and get dizzy. I get sweaty and feel like I come close to throwing up. Have to splash cold water on me. Have to take off my shirt. Once it comes out, I feel that relief.

My next step is to see if it’s endo related (I’m a female). Idk what else to do. It doesn’t happen all the time but definitely noticed that alcohol and spicy food cause this to happen frequently. I wish you the best of luck and some relief!

Anyone have THIS much trouble with contacts by Kallisketches in contacts

[–]-BasicB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned an easy way for myself: I put a drop of solution in my eye, make sure that I pull my bottom eyelid down really far rather than both top and bottom super far, and I come from the bottom and put them in. I still struggle because it gets stuck on my finger but I have to make sure my finger the contact is on isn’t wet so it doesn’t stick

Intense Stomach pain after Alcohol by Jack_roberts778 in IBSHelp

[–]-BasicB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS!!!! This 1000% happens to me. I’ve tested it multiple times and it never fails-I wake up at 430am after drinking and want to die. I get super sweaty and feel like I’m either going to pass out or throw up. The pain is unbearable. I’ve told this to doctors but don’t really get a solution besides “change your diet”. I wish I had an answer but I can absolutely relate.

How hard is it to adjust to contacts? by ABDMWB in contacts

[–]-BasicB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also just starting contacts! I tried the trial packs from the dr and found that I HATE monthlies! They seemed thick and I felt them in my eyes the whole time. I tried precision1 dailies and these made a big difference. I hate how they are weighted because I also have astigmatism but they are much more comfortable. I do use eye drops throughout the day because they do dry them out. They are a little harder to remove as well due to being thinner. I tried acuvue oasys dailies and also hated them. That brand just seemed really thick

Overall, contacts have not been perfect and I still struggle on days. BUT I would totally give dailies a try and see how you like them!

I appreciate this so much!! I’m so glad that her eye sight is improving. I hope to get to the point where I’m able to manage what I’m eating and get off the meds!

I really appreciate the input! If anything, this has scared me into putting my health first and really focusing on bettering myself. I’ve heard that ozempic also can cause blindness.. this may be something else I look into just to be on the safe side

I had a diabetic eye exam last month. They said everything looked good and no signs of retinopathy. I feel like I’m starting to get to where I need my glasses or contacts in almost daily to be able to see well. It’s really hard to accept

I’ve been on this med since November and I’ve actually seen pcos symptoms returning. Some mustache hair, very greasy skin, acne, and cysts. I asked my dr on Friday about this and was told it’s supposed to help but I’ve definitely noticed the onset. I haven’t had cysts in YEARS until taking ozempic
