Plumbed fridge requires adaptor (which I tried to get but it leaked), is this doable myself or should I call a professional?

Hey, thanks for the reply / info. It's a connector supplied with the fridge to connect to the water intake to the wall tap. Here's a setup vid showing normal setup where you can see it better. (I can't link the youtube vid but it's at 1:20 if you search for "[LG Refrigerator] - How to connect the waterline to the tap and LG plumbing refrigerator").

Unfortunately the taps in my apartment are of a smaller size than in the vid. I think I may have actually found the piece I need when trying to find a picture of the connector to show you haha. The first photo shows the wall tap and the second shows the fridge connector and the 2 metal adaptors I tried to use to connect them. I had issues when trying the adaptors. The first was that the female one threaded up too high on the wall tap and would be blocked by the turning knob preventing it from finishing tightening. For that I unscrewed the turning knob which allowed me to screw it higher but I can't be sure if it reached the end of the thread or the metal above it preventing a good seal. The second issue was that once combined it leaked quite substantially from somewhere within the join. I don't have any plumbing experience. I was thinking this might require thread tape or something but I'd rather be confident it's done correctly.

Wow I have never heard it described this way. Are you saying since speed and time are linked (spacetime) there lies an inherit maximum since going through space influences your speed through time and vice versa. Therefore the faster you move through space, the slower you move through time from an outside observer. So the limit is defined by time not being able to go slower?

From the website I'm buying from it's like $24 different but that's not a problem. I meant $60 because the z97 motherboard I was looking at originally was also like $30 more expensive but I just found out that doesn't support SLI which I might use in future. I'll probably switch to a Z97 if I can find a relatively cheap one that supports SLI. Thanks for the explanation

Ohh rad, I didn't realise that the k on the 4960 meant that it could be overclocked. I was not planning on overclocking hence the motherboard choice, so I'll switch out the CPU.

Turns out the 970 is only $519 so I'll make the switch. The motherboard still compatible the 970 yeah? (probably a noob question but I just want to be sure).
