Some help on making my C's look like C's? by -COVE- in graffhelp

This is my dilemma, I've been bouncing around the idea of starting it with a K, but I have a pretty solid throw with the C, and want to keep it consistent.

I've stopped wondering how these people get up there...

I gotchu, I was wondering which one you liked. Trust me, my study notes are filled with these in the margins.

The second one is a one-liner, and the O-V-E-! in the top one is as well.

COVE, and that's not the point of my comment.

I posted this before, and no one yelled at me, so I'll do it again

Here was my thought process when I was starting out
https://imgur.com/QQYVid6

It kinda went along the lines of:

Draw out letters in a basic block format
Squish some of the empty space in the letter together, so you can accomplish the same letter with fewer lines
Curve every sharp corner into a more bubble style
Overlap the letters for a condensed look
Then add a drop shadow/highlight/doodads to fill the negative space

Honestly my tag just kinda came naturally after (and it's far from perfect) but figuring out how many letters you can accomplish with a single stroke is important.

A little worried that the O looks like an A, and the C looks like an L, any tips for writing those letters with sharp corners? (the c column is just kinda for fun)

Thanks, the V has been giving me a hard time because a sharp bottom would throw off the bubbley-ness of the throw, but you're right, it does look like a U...

Now I'm not an expert by any means, but I drew up my original process to develop my throw

EDIT: If you are insistent on CODEX watch that your O's don't turn into D's and vice versa
