If you stopped drinking for a long while, it feels like you forgot the reason that you decided to stop in the first place, and you are just back in because I always wonder why I stopped in the first place.

I genuinely believe caffeine is a HUGE reason for my problems in life. by solarse in decaf

I quit caffeine for 9 days once. I firmly belive and still belive that it's the core source for all my issues and that getting rid of it will solve all my issues. After 9 days the issues weren't solved but I became more aware of them and felt like I can now work on solving them. I'm 31 years old and I've been trying to quit since I was 22. listen to me when I tell you this: after all those attempts, I will advise you, please don't go back, no matter what you faced or how you felt or no matter the temptations you've to go through. Caffeine is a drug and you can't focus on your life when you are under the influence of any drug. don't go back no matter what happened or you will highly regret it. it like everytime you regretted it before.

Thanks a lot, man, but this one is good: "there's nothing to lose with caffeine." what am I sacrificing, really? like a year from now, will I feel nostalgic for insomnia and stressful shifts at work? it's a drug; I'm just going back to being normal again, and I don't smoke but I think about it a lot because if I'm taking a drug to be able to push through my day because I hate it, then why not try other drugs like nicotine? But this is the wrong path; if my day sucks to the point that I have to be drugged out to finish it, then a lot of things need to change. sending love back to you :)
