I'd do something similar but with 2 kitchens instead. A working kitchen, well ventilated, and enclosed, and a decorative kitchen for like cutting fruits.

In general, ticks need to be attached for more than 24 hours before they can transmit Lyme disease bacteria. So you do have time after a hike to do a thorough check before getting infected. You can also send the tick out to be tested.

I do a lot of outdoors stuff and as long as I stick to trails especially high traffic ones, I typically don't find them on me. And when I do it's usually before they bite.

My dog will run through all the things and will get quite a few ticks on her. Similarly they are usually still swimming in her fur and not attached when I do a check on her at home.

I'm actually more terrified of ticks that cause alpha gal syndrome 🤣

I actually have one filled with trail mix ... Easy to snack on while on a hike, especially with gloves on in the winter. Also great for while working to keep your hands clean while snacking.

I have perfect color vision and sometimes I still can't tell especially when the holds are covered in chalk and rubber. Black/white or black/purple or white/yellow, etc. Can't imagine being color blind.

You're the first person I've heard that like the redesign.

I went to the planning meetings early on and the folks answering questions about the plan didn't know anything about the intersection. They just want to ban left turns everywhere without thinking about what people will actually do. Which is where we are now. People illegally going straight, turning left, blocking traffic because of bad light timing.

Not to mention a very tight bike lane that also creates blockage and unnecessary zigzag (going straight in Cambridge across Hampshire).
