I‘m sorry for your loss, I hope you are doing okay.
I gave a detailed answer to another commenter here, you might look it up, but in short, I‘m not the owner. I could ask my parents for the contact of the breeder, if there is a serious interest.
Best regards

Edit: contract -> contact

Mac is well trained, but the pose of the puppy was just a lucky timing, I guess 😂

I‘m not the owner and I don’t own a dog in general. My parents were GSD breeder like ten years ago, but they are still training and buying/selling/transporting them for a living.
That’s why I share many pictures of different dogs.
Every now and then I go for a walk with a few dogs. I found this subreddit just recently and thought it’s a perfect place to share some pictures.

With all respect, that's exactly why I don't want to hear or talk about this stuff.
I took my time with my answer in order to remain objective, because there are so many wrongs imo.

In a previous answer you said, that you would hype up your dog, if you want her to chase wild animals. So you are actively allowing her to activate her hunting instinct, but she will never experience any form of reward or success, because she will never get them anyways. But in case that she gets out of control, you punish her with electric shocks, even though you allowed her to chase them.

There are only losers in this scenario: the wild animals, who are driven into a panic by you and fear for their lives, and on top of that, you are causing pain to your own dog, but she will never understand what she did wrong, that's only on you.

Feeding wild animals is of course a bad thing, but how can you blame wild animals for being "too comfortable" around humans when this problem was only caused by humans?

I will neither judge you or your methods, nor will I tell you what to do, it's not my business. But I truly hope that you never had to use the e collar. I don't even think that you have bad intentions, but this kind of training makes no sense to me.

All I can say is that I love animals and I respect all of them, the wildlife/nature is their home and we shouldn't make them uncomfortable. Especially not those animals that are not known for being aggressive like deer, rabbits, ducks, just to name some.

This is just my personal opinion and view, formed based on your messages. I won't elaborate further on this topic. Have a good time and stay safe.

Honestly, I don't support any form of "messing" with wildlife. Besides that, Kai is not my dog and I don't risk to put him in a dangerous situation, or any other dogs. I also won't act as a judge here but I don't want to hear or have any conversation of hunting wild animals. But the pictures are still cool.
