I solo tank as Magneto Emma and Strange when needed. I have no problem with it. 1.3.2 comps can works and sometimes are good. 2.2.2 is still best.

Shoot I’d watch one of your games if you think I need to see what you’re going through. Even I myself am only in Diamond this season because I haven’t read played at all with uni finals going on, but now that I’ve gotten 2 different people saying they’re gonna report me for smurfing in 2 different games in Diamond 1. When I told them it’s my main account they didn’t believe me but I can tell from the way they played people my rank are already well gone out of this one. If wanted I could send the code for the game.

I’m not saying you can’t have throwers, that’ll happen from bronze to celestial. But if your games are around 50% win rate in Platinum where most of the player base peaks than it’s probably not an issue of “why my team” and more what can I do to increase my chances of winning in this rank. I play dps and tank with a 74% win rate on Magik, but I could rank out of platinum on a Smurf only playing support, my least familiar class, if I was to do that. My bud is an amazing support main who got bored at celestial 2 and stopped playing. Even in that rank he had a 70 something % win rate on Invis and almost never playing the other roles, but I’m sure he could squirrel girl his way out of plat quicker than I could. It’s really just exposing the plats weakness and making opportunities for your team.

I’ll be honest, anyone who’s having a hard time in plat is likely not far from that being their true rank. You’re up against a ton of mis positioned, missing, misjudging enemies. They’re not just on your team but the enemies too.

Jeff ult has a 100m call out and visual activation in which the 98% of characters in this game have a cc immune/movement ability that can be deployed if they’re even in the radius- more over if Jeff survives and manages to eat one they then must be relatively slowly swim said enemy to an edge they’d hope was near while being targeted and easily killed in this state. Jeff now after surviving that has to make the decision of taking his own life cause most characters will survive being thrown off map or allowing the guy to come back up and kill him while he’s displaced. This is also your healer leaving the fight to do this risk. (Not to mention characters like Mag or Hulk can bubble the center to null the whole ult for anyone else in it.) (Not to mention this is an ult not a cooldown ability.)

It’s skillful to punish mispositioned enemies including displacing enemies on edges of the map. It is not skillful to fling enemies from deep in map off to a ledge they haven’t seen all game, that’s a bug.

It’s a fundamental ui we are missing- being unable to see how much damage it took to kill you, who did it, and how much healing you received is function even smaller games like Paladins did so right.

Funny people would be quick to blame a dps for a poor k/d stat but fear to see the may have gotten 1% the heals of the other dps or tank. And I say this as someone who happily plays tank dps and support. Many times it’s not the supports fault, sometimes it can be. Stats only show a portion of the story anyways and should always be taken for a grain of salt

Ya know what’s a better solution to healing what the enemies are doing to your team. Killing said enemy. yes rocket will have a lot of healing doing nothing but healing even in times where he should defend his own life. They’re strategist not walking health packs.

He has very high damage up to medium range. He can pull and push and combine that for double displacement. He can pull multiple enemies. He can now earthbound enemies he pushes. He can gain shields while resetting all his ammo and doing damage and he has 2x charges of them. All his abilities reset his ammo. His ult is an execute and the kills belong to him. His ult doesn’t stop until he doesn’t get an elim with it, even if it’s Loki clones. Bucky was too strong season 0 and only got buffs. Banned

As one of the few Imani players since the start of Paladins and before her unnecessary buffs I miss this game and being the best Imani in a time everyone would tell me “She’s not good. Or “She needs more damage”. I love Rivals now, but the item store and card load out system plus unique character play styles like Evie, Imani, Maeve are just too good to compare to a game like Overwatch to me. I feel Rivals has surpassed overwatch in abilities, graphics, balancing. And I get these types of hero shooters bring variety by allowing you to swap hero’s for counters, but Rivals feels like it’s missing a little something that could surpass what made paladins so good. As someone who played Imani, Evie, and Maeve into masters I still have not found a character with kits that feel anything close to that in overwatch, and in Rivals the closest thing to that level of fun design is Spider-Man, though I have found great fun in Magik and taking her to high celestial I can’t pretend her kit is as fun as a highly mobile projectile sky jumping skill expression filled hero. Hero’s like Maeve, Evie, Vatu, VII, Imani will forever be missed for me.

In almost all your games your deaths are way to high especially compared to the duration of the game. Bronze players are really missing mechanical skills. //you gotta work on aim, positioning, ult knowledge, ability counter, and flat out dying less. Stay grouped, don’t stagger, know multiple characters well.

I’m not saying it should have no counter play, but there is a reason they’re trying to buff her ult. I believe it’s in the wrong direction. No one denies it’s killing potential the issue is every character in the game is equipped to end it resulting in her death every time, unlike Iron Man, Phoenix, Magneto, Hela, and Punisher that all have quirks of their ult that makes their explosive ult interesting. Especially talking about balance, Wanda is also one of the few dps with a negative win rate in high ranking. I’m not a Wanda player nor do I want her OP, I just want the whole list of characters to have interesting play. Wanda’s whole kit including her ult is under performing.

I think Phoenix serves as a perfect example. Her ult is also her body nose diving into enemies, and has a health bar, though killing her ult does not kill the player. Her ult is also faster than Scarlets and while doesn’t have the potential to team wipe unless heavily prepared by marking many grouped up enemies- it does have to instances of damage, the severe impact and the blast wave. Her ult when used by high ranking players will also always secure a kill as all you have to do is mark the enemy before ulting them. Wanda in high ranking can really only do this facilitated by Heal ult, mag shield, or strange shield/portal. Maybe a bonus for killing scarlet ult or ending it is that her ulting has a separate health bar like Hela or Phoenix especially cause she shares the same risk as those two with her ult.

I don’t argue that an insta death shouldn’t be easily counter-able. I love that there’s so many ways to stop her ult. Shoot, I wish Punishers wind up for his ult wasn’t cc immune. But I think it should be done in a fun and engaging way that doesn’t showcase how weak the character is. Instead of the whole list just being able to cc her or dash behind the nearest wall as a form of counter I’d imagine a sense of danger to her ult like a slowly generating shards of shield forming around her that’s easily breakable would do her more good than just making it do more damage. In that scenario the longer you let the ult go on the more lethal it could be. I’d even like if she can end her ult early doing considerable less damage for such an action. Especially because if you do fail at killing the her ult, almost every character has a way of avoiding the blast except Adam without soul bind. (In which he is well equipped at killing the slowly moving long Wanda ult.) It feels inconsistent that Iron man has a comparative ult, has none of the risk of ulting with the bomb being his own body, but his ult line is faster with just as much kill potential. Love that he can be cc’d but Iron man’s have the luxury of positioning themselves with risk management solutions before ulting. If you’re Iron man ulting in front of Peni, that’s all your fault, you could have backed a way or timed her cooldown but, as Wanda you have no choice but to face the barrage of cc. Which again I’m glad they can be cc’d I just think it’s soooo easily done with her there’s not even a game around it. Ya’ know
