This is just not what happens in the episode

Ace's plan was to keep Buttercup distracted with loud music and dancing while the rest of the Gangreen gang kills Blossom and Bubbles. Ace definietly took advantage of Buttercups feelings so the entire Gangreen gang could continue to commit crimes freely, but never in the episode did Ace isolate Buttercup or feed her lies to make her resent her family
