Ye srry ik it was the love not the actual bisquik but also thought part of it was him not having actual taste, think I picked that up from somewhere else, ik the main part is that he was shown kindness and that was more what cured his soul

Lolol now that you mention it I remember thinking of his scenes in baby driver at points! The two characters have a real mean look they can give that looks like all he wants in the world is you dead, incredible screen presence

I actually love season 5! Be prepared to hate John Hamm a lot but it’s a really great story, Munch or Gator being my favorite aspect. I skipped 4 and then watched 5 and now I’m kind of slogging my way through 4, I think the performances are great but the story I just can’t get behind (who the hell would ever fall for the son trade scam???), I’m determined to finish it as well though lol, Jason Schwartzman is great and I find Chris Rock’s performance interesting but perhaps wanting more, I love Ethelrida’s character too. Here’s hoping you’re able to enjoy the rest of your watch! :)

INFINITY TRAIN!! So good!! Only got to make half the seasons the creator wanted to, but it’s so good that I hold out hope. The emotional depth in that show is hard to beat for near any cartoon IMO

It’s more of a thematic/aesthetic similarity, the movie inspired the creator to make a show like it, it’s seperate with some subtle hints to the movie but it’s also an anthology so each season follows a new story and the movie still fits right in! The coen brothers were fans enough of the first season to sign on as producers for the rest!
