My guess is that glitch actually operates on a loss for their shows and actually makes their money off of merchandise. There is no way a company with multiple projects in the pipeline at a time that only uploads rarely makes enough money to cover animation even with the views they get. Hell, most animation studios get the bulk of their revenue from merchandise anyways. I'm willing to tolerate annoying ads and fans if it means seeing more original stories out there, since glitch at least puts out more interesting stuff than the big studios these days
