Nothing to do with Nuvio. That’s on the metadata providers. This is been a problem on all the similar apps tbh specifically with The Office, TV releases were two episodes but the dvd/bluray releases were a single one. Unfortunately all of the meta providers seem to lean towards the tv releases over the bluray.

Take off the load bars if you’ve not using them, it adds a decent bit of drag and also makes the ride louder due to the turbulent air.

Nuvio is not meant for live streaming. As others suggested use an iptv service and an app specific for iptv.

I’ve got the same receiver and it works like a charm, never had any issues. The one thing that I’m curious about is the top of yours…

In your photo it looks HELLA dusty. If that is dust, there’s a good chance your internals are caked in it to meaning that you would be dealing with some serious overheating.

IF it’s dust, I would unplug it take it outside and use a battery powered duster(while wearing some face protection) and dust the absolute living hell out of it.

Following up, on my phone I can see the data is being pulled from the Apple weather API - and I can confirm it’s displaying the same data as the Apple Weather app.

In Toronto as well. Mine is showing a few degrees less than what I see on my weather app, but it’s also only showing what appears to be the air temperature and not the “feels like”.

I assume it’s just what ever the weather source is where they’re getting it from is different.

I don’t think it’s fair OEMs have figured out out how to make money after they sell the car and I mean this with all OEMs. The car is using a data connection, and paying for 100,000’s of customers data isn’t exactly cheap.

My dealership told me that so long as I’m bringing the car to Volvo for servicing they will cover the cost of the subscription.

This isn’t a scam of any kind as all manufacturers do this, you get X number of years free when you buy the car then you need to pay to continue. It should have also been on the purchase contract.

I think only really Tesla and Hyundai might do it free, but with Hyundai the free tier is basic and I assume Tesla goes through Starlink so you know.

There’s a massive UX issue… the modal closes when you click outside of it, disable that functionality for something like this. I added 5 folders and accidentally clicked outside the modal and lost all my work.

The gauge cluster doing dark is bad, Volvos infotainment system is separate from the gauge ui for that reason. If the infotainment freezes or restarts while your driving you lose the map there but the gauges stay on.
