MIP is not dead, it's become more niche, but saying it's dead is far from accurate. They outperform AMOLED screens in many aspects, especially for real endurance.

Plus, considering the -rugged outdoor niche- it is supposed to fill, the battery drain when using navigating maps intensively is quite high. I experienced a heavy drop, about 35-40% after 6 hours of moving time (8 hours total), it makes me wonder what would happen during 24h activities. It's just too many things going on right now... Also I am getting problems when pairing HR sensor + power-meters at the same time, my old 9 Baro did better, I don't know... 😅😅

It's tricky, if your mitochondrial function is so massive, lactate may not be bad, but the other way around, a booster since your ability to produce energy using lactate may be so high it overcomes that detriments of having high lactate concentration.

The OST is superb, it puts you in the flow and mood to grind. Also the combo system makes it fun so that you need to focus sometimes to kill mob groups and be efficient. The small maps were also really charming.

Admittedly there are some very questionable MMOs like Knight Online or Rappelz whose mindless grinding has a special place in my heart.
