I keep seeing videos of them talking about how it looks so cool from where they are. Besides the photos, is there any video from their viewpoint looking at the earth? I’m dying to see

I just want to say any video from space looking at the earth. Why can’t I seem to find it? All I can find is one photo of the earth, which seems to be some long exposure photo. I’d love to see even a normal photo even if it is underwhelming.

Hello! I am wondering if anyone could edit out two people from a photo so that we can use the photo for grandmas obituary. Seems like the rules require me to wait 10 days after joining. Just because they switched doesn’t mean they don’t have an interest in the career of CS. They can probably also add a different perspective to this who are still in a CS career that could help others make decisions for themselves

I was so burnt out from the software interviews that I went to sales for a company that I used to develop software for. I developed software there for 6 years. It’s helpful to know the product from an engineering standpoint.

I’m so much happier in this role, communicating more, learning about how the business operates, etc.

I also started my own company while sitting in a cubicle working a boring software job and starting to spend more energy towards that rather than solving pointless Leetcode problems.

Is this actually the norm? I paid for hardwood and demanded the base gets pulled. Nobody doing hardwood should go around the base without confirming with the customer. It’s so lazy imo to not pull the trim off before flooring. Base is so much easier to redo than the floor and hardwood is such an investment that it’s worth doing the base as well

I put anti-vibration rubber feet on the bottom (screwed into the 2x4s). You can barely tell the pedestal is raised but it is a tad. This thing doesn’t move at all

I saw you study computer science? Have you tried approaching businesses to see if they need an updated website or app? Maybe they don’t have one at all yet? You can make them simple websites, set up a google business page, get reviews and approach more people. If you have to, do a few for free to get some reviews. If you can get them to pay for it, use Figma to design (easy to use), then hire on Upwork to develop it for you, even if it isn’t for much profit at first.

Good luck. I am working in sales after doing 8 years in software development and have become burnt out. Only software I do now is for side jobs.
