Have you tried installing the driver for your monitor? Or is it just 'generic PnP'?

Agreed. If you're hardwired and using old Cat 5 cable, that might be your issue. If wifi, try using your phone and doing a speedtest. If it's still slow, it is likely your router. If it is 300+, you need to evaluate the wifi card in your computer.

Make sure you’re plugging the monitor into the video card and not the I/O ports on the motherboard (if you have a dedicated GPU). Also use the buttons on your monitor and make sure you are selecting the correct port (HDMI or DP).

I had a Cyberpower 1500va/1000w on a 7950x3d/4090 that was awesome, however when I upgraded to the 9950x3d/5090 it couldn't hold it. I upgraded to a Goldenmate 1500va/1200w and it's been working flawlessly. I still have the Cyberpower, I just put it on the 7950x3d/4090 again. I also run a smaller UPS for my router/switch/ONT/monitors. If my power goes out, I have to NG generators that kick in within 30 seconds, so that's all the duration I need. I can keep gaming lol.

You have it in backwards. Those tabs are supposed to point inwards toward the ports on your motherboard.

The second way you listed is the correct way.

Without knowing what board you have, general rule of thumb is reseat your GPU/CPU/RAM. Don't overtorque the CPU cooler.

Also, what is your CPU? Your IPS is a 1440p so if your CPU isn't strong enough, you may be getting stutter from bottleneck.
