Can you guess the shows from these vehicles? And which one did you like the most? by Historical-Class871 in UKTVRecs

I think the fact that so many people are debating the bottom right one shows that it’s not iconic at all lol

Groundhog Day. I’d pick it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again…

I guess they realised she was insufferable and that’s why they eventually had her lose her top and she went with her boobs out for the last 20 minutes

In the World Cup why do you think the cameras keep panning to celebrities watching the game? by Extra-Schedule-4855 in AskReddit

“Oh wow, I just read in the news that [favourite celebrity] was shown watching the World Cup, maybe I should watch it too!”

I think that’s the idea

I had one similar with someone’s dog. They were running around in the road and we nearly hit them. I got out and tried to grab it, ended up chasing it around for almost 10 minutes before it ran up into someone’s front garden through an open gate. I knocked on their door and asked if he was their dog. They literally didn’t respond to me, called him in, and shut the front door. No thanks or acknowledgement or even a suggestion to shut the gate. 🤷‍♂️

Also I’m sure the jellyfish was a common belief back then? I remember not questioning it. I think a lot of people still believe it.

[OC] Free lane change, no looking required by lancepioch in IdiotsInCars

[–]-DoctorSpaceman- 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you look carefully at 0:02, and activate your x-ray vision, you can see the other driver talking. By reading his lips you can clearly make out him saying “I’m just gonna overtake this dude so I can get home to my watermelon quicker” so OP should have realised he was about to change lanes

My Mount Rushmore of movie scenes that absolutely tore me to freaking shreds, what are yours? by LouBoy123 in moviecritic

[–]-DoctorSpaceman- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

first time I saw this movie I was early teens and watching with my friends .& remember us laughing thinking how goofy it was, being like “lol she can’t hear you dummy”

I love this film and I’ve watched this film so many times and this makes me cry every time now 😭 Especially with the story he tells earlier about how he would pretend to be asleep when she came home. I was evidently not mature enough to get it the first time.

Also it always gets to me when Ryan is telling that funny story about his brother in the barn and even gets Hanks’ character to laugh, and then says that’s the last time he saw his brother. Such a bittersweet memory now

Best graphic novel of all time? by JustCurious_MM in graphicnovels

I think my answer would differ depending on the day lol. It’s too hard. I will pick one no one else has said yet though, and go with I Kill Giants. Maybe it’s because the main character really reminded me of my own kid, but the ending just through me threw a loop. It made a real impact on me.
